Very nice update, good job @nezero  Smiley

I know losing Kucoin was a big hit but we are already recovering. I am relaxed because I know DeepOnion has a bright future ahead.  Cool

Thanks to our dev team again. A new mobile wallet without the need to install two apps would be great!

Good to have the link. We'll take care.

DeepOnion dev nezero just published important news

https://github.com/deeponion/Android-DeepOnionJ (deeponion/Android-DeepOnionJ)

We've just released the DeepOnion Mobile App template. This will enable anyone to rapidly build and deploy a Tor integrated mobile application that connects to the DeepOnion network.

This is a key step in opening up our blockchain to new opportunities. Most blockchain based services need to rely on centralised backends that suck information from you before allowing you to use them. This demonstrates our progress in being able produce privacy first, decentralised applications that can form the foundation of our upcoming developments.

Major Milestones Hit in this development:

Tor Integrated DeepOnion connected mobile apps - No need to rely on Orbot.
DeepOnionJ - Up to date fork of BitcoinJ converted to DeepOnion https://github.com/deeponion/deeponionj (deeponion/deeponionj)
Automated Builds DeepOnionJ - https://travis-ci.com/github/deeponion/deeponionj (Travis CI - Test and Deploy with Confidence)
Automated Builds DeepOnion Core - https://travis-ci.com/github/deeponion/deeponion (Travis CI - Test and Deploy with Confidence)

Please contribute to this project if you can -

Java Devs - Go Here -> https://github.com/deeponion/deeponionj (deeponion/deeponionj)
Android Devs - Go Here -> https://github.com/deeponion/Android-DeepOnionJ (deeponion/Android-DeepOnionJ)

Anyone who fancies making a better README on the projects feel free to send in a PR or post a new one here.

I remember how the community reacted after losing NOVA and then Cryptopia, now it's the same story with KuCoin. It's not the first exchange, and it's not the last one.
I can't remember the react when NOVA case was there. But cryptopia case was different and I really didn't see any negative reaction back then. Cryptopia was hacked and no one could do anything. It's not anyone's fault. But Kucoin case is different. It's because of lack of liquidity. Then what's the plan, what's the next step?

Always check the historic data and don't believe those trolls who try to spread negative information. KuCoin has at least 30 other cryptos with much less volume and liquidity than DeepOnion, but they decided to delist and claimed it's liquidity and traders protection.

DeepOnion liquidity and volume increased a lot compared to the last few months, and I'm not talking about the increase in liquidity after the delisting announcement on 24-APR-2020: https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-delist-list-april

I remember how the community reacted after losing NOVA and then Cryptopia, now it's the same story with KuCoin. It's not the first exchange, and it's not the last one.

Well, it was a polite reply but they didnt act according their rules, because they didn´t add us the ST tag. Nothing to do right now. Let´us try to find new ways to improve the project as a strong community.

It is important to clarify some things.

1- The DeepOnion team is in constant communication with Kucoin to solve the problem in the best possible way.

2- We recently received an offer to be part of the new Kucoin platform called Pool-X. We have responded with interest and accepted their proposal, in fact we offered an ONION fund for advertising campaigns on behalf of Kucoin, therefore this delisting situation takes us by surprise.

3- We have already reiterated it on some occasions, but it is good to remember it. DeepOnion is a non-ICO project that is made up by a group of volunteers who dedicate their hours to improve the project. Every action involves money, and many times we are limited in advertising or listing in an exchange for that reason. Rest assured that the team is always thinking about new ideas and ways to attract new users, but all takes time. In addition, the current economic situation has complicated things even more.

4- All DeepOnion users are welcome and encouraged to suggest new ideas for the project through our forums and the VoteCentral platform. DeepOnion is an open source project and everyone is welcome to get involved. All the ideas that you guys have suggested are taken into consideration, but you must understand that due to lack of time, staff or money, they have not been carried out so far.

We hope that these statements are a starting point for what comes from here on out. The DeepOnion team wants the best for the project and we hope you understand it and get more involved even more. We need you!

With all the FUD and fake news out there I will be waiting for confirmation. Already being in a bear market and then this corona crap thrown on top of that I think ONION is holding up quite well. I have seen higher and I have seen lower. You take the good with the bad. I think the isolation, etc. associated with pandemic is leaving a lot of people depressed and they are saying and doing things they would not normally.

Dev team asked KuCoin for the name or email of that contact but they still did not respond.
Get the actual details from the devs here (with updates):
https://deeponion.org/community/threads/attention-to-deeponion-kucoin-exchange-users.43638/

KuCoin claims it was a skype account, but none of the team members have a skype account.
https://deeponion.org/community/threads/attention-to-deeponion-kucoin-exchange-users.43638/page-2#post-669331

KuCoin always used the official email as the main form of contact to discuss wallet updates, maintenance announcements, and ONION Soft Staking.
Why didn't KuCoin use the official contact email this time?

should try to be listed by more  exchanges such as livecoin, yobit!

Well, KuCoin is a very decent exchange and you can't compare it to Yobit. They're very different integrity wise. Also, I browsed some topics in DeepOnion's forum regarding them being delisted from KuCoin and it appears that they are still trying to confirm if that news is correct or was it just a prank by someone else. We need to wait for a proper announcement from the Onion team before panicking.

I have a suggestion, https://www.coinex.com/ ( https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/coinex/ ) seems to list coins without as much capital, you can try.

That's sad and was supposed to be happened. Kucoin will delist us and we will be sticky with some more shit exchange which doesn't have a volume overall even. Right?
Still no further step taken by you guys mean someone was correct. It's sad that within thid 3 years, we are still not beig listed on top tier exchanges even though we claim that we are the best privacy coin out there.
