Which is the difference of having a longer list of nodes? Why would it be better have 30 connections instead of 16?

Just to make sure you have a stable connection. The more nodes, the better.

Missed this one. Added the nodes to my config file and starting my wallet.
Let's see if I can reach 30+ now.

QT wallets are seen as threats since they can be modified by anyone.
That's how they are programmed.
Anyone can release a QT wallet , an exact copy. This is why AntiVirus won't allow it.
