    • Gambling on smartwatches on the move
Of all the trends listed above, this one really caught my attention and I wonder if this is already happening on some smartwatches?
I can barely type a message on my smart watch and what more to gamble using this? I know technology is growing so fast but I think we are still far from this or maybe those watches can just be an extra screen aside from your smart phone, nevertheless the trends every year are getting more crazy we should really expect the unexpected.

Sometimes if we play one slot game at one casino, the results will be different if we play at another casino with the same slot game because it will depend on our luck.
There's also the factor of the house edge as some casinos offer the same games but set a different house edge % or lower payout on their slot games.

However there's a casino who doesn't have license and free KYC, any gamblers from everywhere are allowed to play.
I remember this used to be the case in some casinos back then but after some time they'd change the terms and introduce geo-restrictions to certain countries.

Usually, if we have started playing slots and like them, we will not move to other slot games. But some gamblers will switch to other slot games to try to experience other fun. Some also choose other slot games because they think their luck will come to other games. Sometimes if we play one slot game at one casino, the results will be different if we play at another casino with the same slot game because it will depend on our luck.

    • Crypto is dominating gambling circles
    • Gamblers in restricted locations can still play
    • Rapidly changing consumer habits
Many people are prefer to play in online gambling that using crypto since it's more easier and convenient, also they thought using crypto is much safer rather than linking your bank accounts directly into the casino.

Gamblers in restricted locations can't play since it's against their rules, it's just an abusers who using VPN and make them can play in those casino. However there's a casino who doesn't have license and free KYC, any gamblers from everywhere are allowed to play.

Online casino is more easier to improve and change anything that based on gamblers suggestion, unlike in real life casino they need to pay many workers to make a change.

All sites have the same set of slots, probably because they do not develop them themselves, but use the services of slot providers? And each site cooperates with all the top slot providers, so the set of games can really be said to be the same. But I don’t know how much time (and money) it takes to play each slot and get tired of all of them, there are too many of them to even remember each one.
Not all but most sites have the same slot games but still, there are a couple of sites that have their own exclusive slots which are usually overshadowed by the thousands of slot games they offer. Playing a slot game can last from a few minutes to several hours depending on your luck but IMO it's easy to remember the games or at least recall a word or two of the title you're playing since some games have similar titles and gameplay.

    • Gambling on smartwatches on the move
This makes me wonder how the technology will develop whether it will be an option because smartwatches only provide a small display screen, I doubt players will be comfortable when playing with a very small screen, but maybe it will be different if the latest smartwatch technology appears with an adjustable screen. Trying to find the article you mentioned but unfortunately it doesn't include a gambling platform that has or is currently developing this. Maybe can adopted in sportsbetting but not on others type gambling.

I think the author of the article did not notice another trend - the expansion of the KYC. Now it is more and more difficult to find casinos without KYC, online casinos are becoming more controlled and regulated.
That is true but some people are still enjoying no kyc or lenient kyc policy gambling sites, there are some of them on this forum but the more they become common as they are having customers and getting recognized by the government, the more the kyc rules become harder.

Yes, I use several crypto bookmakers for betting and I did not go through the KYC because the bet sizes are small and the turnover too.
But I understand that with an increase in the size of bets to a certain size, KYC will be inevitable, and if you look into the future, it will be almost everywhere. This is a sad trend and only the emergence of decentralized casinos can change it.

Dice was the big thing forever. Seems every new site the popped up had dice. Now days what you see is slots. All the casinos offer basically the same slots. It's really quite boring.

I think we are not talking about the graphical interface of the slots, which only brings visual diversity and that it is very rare to find a truly memorable slot, for example having a bonus system that is radically different from what we are used to seeing in other slots. They all look alike, that's why they get bored quickly, even if you move to a new gambling site.

    • Land-based casinos trending downwards

Trending downwards? Isn't it just common that land-based casinos become not usable in the meantime because of the pandemic? Count for several years before we can say that land-based casinos are not that pleasing to anybody anymore. Most of the land-based casinos just become fully operational about a year now and others are just slowly starting again.

Let them catch up first. We can't conclude that as a trend for 2022. We are just half of the year before concluding anything.
Online casinos had starting on opening up their doors once again considering that pandemic had started to go down or almost gone which we know that there would be still people or gamblers who would really be

much prefer on playing on offline casinos thats  why i dont really see for some downtrend or becoming unpopular but cant really be denied that people can really play online without the need on going
    into these physical places.

Lets just think about co-existence and do serve out different market for different sets of people/'gamblers.

Gambling on smart watches was really news to me, I haven't tried it but it's totally obvious on what setting it is. I guess virtual reality games has the scope in it involving NFT or the Metaverse, it's more of the hot trend not by now but on the coming years too.

If I understand correctly, then gambling on a smartwatchs is no different from gambling on smartphones or a computer? If yes, then I do not quite understand what the new trend is here.
It's more like Ben10 gambling with his watch, 😂 LOL. Yes it's the same like gambling on our phone and it's not like a trend, smart watch could be a trend but with the advancement of having a browser on a watch to gamble was likely dope. I think gambling on smart watch with a holographic theme would be more fun and excited to do, maybe in the future.

Smartphones have become widespread since 2011 (that is, since the beginning of the last decade).

Prior to this, people used stationary computers and laptops.  There were also communicators, but it was a niche product for geeks.  Communicators (unlike smartphones) were practically not used for entertainment.  Communicators were used to solve business problems and time management.  The mass adoption of smartphones has revolutionized online entertainment (including gambling).  Smartphones allow you to be in the virtual space 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.

What devices can replace smartphones in the field of online entertainment?  Smart watch?  Virtual reality glasses?  Something other?

I don't know the answer to this question ....

Perhaps it will really be devices worn on the hand, like a watch, and capable of creating holographic projections.

    I'm waiting for such devices!

With covid came the need for online activities and the gambling industry has witnessed high patronage this period with new casinos popping up now and then, most of them are already doing well in terms of customer service and gaining trust from the community.

Physical casinos are witnessing low patronage a this is as a result of the pandemic and seat-at-home order, we are going to see more of these trends as time goes on.

Not just that, crypto has bridged so many difficulties in funding online casinos and the fact that most of them don't require KYC makes it easy for players to move around funds without any problems. You can swiftly deposit BTC, LTC, ETH and other popular coins to any Casino without first converting them to Fiat and the same goes for withdrawals without converting from Fiat to Cryptos.
Physical Bookmakers are almost back to normal activities and I also think that most countries have removed restrictions on the movement just that the above merits are winning over them.

People from the countries where gambling is restricted are not allowed to play on the most of the cryptocurrency gambling sites as well, if you take a look at the TOS of any gambling site you will see players from which countries are not allowed to register and some people are allowed to play specific games only depends on the regulations of particular country so that is the one misleading point in the article.

I will like to know the smartwatch that can do this, all I know is that smartwatch can be used for notification and not gambling, but it will be good if a smartwatch is able to place bet, but you are not wrong, it is not that different from using mobile phones as portable as phones are and easy to carry about.

Web 3 gaming is the new trend of the moment with the metaverse and the NFT has given birth to a whole lot of new development that has advanced the gambling industry, even with the increase in the number of online casinos users a lot of players are anticipating more from the developing new trend that has resulted into the introduction of new casino platforms with unique features and excellent services. Blackjack and new crash games have been at the four front of this new trend.
I don't know how a particular game from a specific platform stands forefront against other games available on different gambling sites. The reason for the increasing usage of cryptocurrency accepted gambling platforms were due to the pandemic, next thing is the play to earn tokens, next is the hype on different games. In specific during the pandemic there isn't much of sports/matches around and this has made the sport betting people towards online casinos. Now majority of the gamblers are used to it than moving to the real casinos.

Let me just add you that the resurgence of online casinos might be due to the pandemic. Everyone is at home and those gamblers wanted to continue so they go online and play and that's why the sudden downturn as far as numbers of gamblers going to traditional land base casinos.
It is true. It is because of the pandemic that forced gamblers to gamble in an online casino or sportsbooks where traditional casinos are not allowed to have many people inside instead they limit the person who can enter when it is open to public. I also choose online since I don't like to travel back and forth when I want to gamble since it's the same as online where I only wanted to have fun or waste my free time until I have something else to do.
