I agree. In case of online gambling, you can play from the comfort of your home. All you need is a computer and internet connection. You need not bother about personally visiting the casino. Man, I've seen people who were totally addicted to online gambling unlike anything I would expect to see in a physical casino--I won't give the details of the circumstances of my observation, but looking at the one example I'm thinking of makes me shudder. The guy would spend at least 12 hours a day in front of his computer, playing poker. Every day.

Physical casinos cater to gamblers and their vices, and they do provide a social atmosphere--all to keep you playing, of course. Online casinos don't offer that, but that doesn't mean the gambler doesn't still have those vices. It would be very easy for someone with a gambling problem to sit there with a bottle of vodka and gamble his savings away, smoking cigarettes whilst alternating watching porn. And meanwhile that problem gambler is isolated from the rest of humanity and slowly killing himself. Crazy.

One advantage of real casinos is that they boost at least the local economy by being there. They provide jobs and tax revenues and so forth, and these online casinos don't provide any benefits whatsoever to society as a whole.

I agree to that, also you have to add that there are too many requirements when you are playing Traditional Gambling, going in to an actual casinos is too hassle, unlike if you are playing online casinos which is the complete exact opposite of Traditional Casinos, but they are still both risky, keep that in mind. If it is possible, don't even try gambling because it is really addicting.

These are some of the major disadvantages of traditional gambling. Also, his relatives cut off their relation with him.

Breaking the law and hurting oneself in all means at same time is not encouraged by me. Honestly, if a person wants to become a drug dealer, he can do that safely to if he is clever enough but that is not a good act for sure. Similarly, gambling s like hurting your family members. Agreed, traditional gambling can see the expression of opponents play while gambling. However, traditional gambling is more risky. I mean if a country does not grant permission to gambling like an Islamic country it will make the players go to jail. Those who are busy in life but still love to gamble, online gambling is much possible for them and yeah more online casinos are now working and they continues to attract more players which I think more risky compare to the physical casinos. Traditional gambling may not be good enough for some gamblers and this is why they are trying to play online which has more option to play.

The advantages of traditional gambling are similar to those of social meetings with friends in a park when compared to the same meeting on skype. The experience is totally different. A real casino gives you the sound and smell, the ability to touch the machines and hold cards and chips in your hand. It allows you to share the fun with friends. It may not look like much but for some people it is.

But I think in modern society few people are willing to make the tradeoff, effort vs convenience. The convenience and variety of playing online likely outweighs the social aspects of casinos, at least that's my view.
