In my research I was surprised to find an information pertaining to an online mall that is accepting bitcoins. According to the site this online mall is a potential rival to amazon and ebay. But sad to say that  the Online Square Mall Market is not very well known to bitcoin users amidst its existence since 2014. I am not sure if this site is still alive today since I also want to purchase smartphones on this site.

I think you were just trying to promote that link but if you indeed needed ato buy something with bitcoins you could as well do it on the traditional shops like Amazon through third parties like purse.io , shopawl among others.

I guess we will see many news like this in the future. I love to see that bitcoin is conquering all markets now. It means, the competition on bitcoin will getting more tighter. These two companies are good rivals. Ebay is just a bit late. Im sure many companies like this will follow and accept bitcoin.

I've been waiting for an online shopping service to come around that allowed the payment of bitcoin. I know there are a few, but I am looking for one to come up that is similar to Amazon where you can find almost

everything. Fortunately, there are services such as Gyft which allow you to purchase gift cards with bitcoin and use them on sites such as Amazon, Ebay, etc... Once bitcoin becomes less volatile and more

mainstream, I believe we will see sites such as an "Online Mall" sprouting up across the internet that support bitcoin payment methods.

Many users will be happy if it really happen means so many will start using bitcoin service to buy through bitcoin.

Imagine what this would do to the price of Bitcoin if more sites accept Bitcoin as a payment currency. Hopefully in the next 5 years more online companies will accept Bitcoin as payment.

I am not sure if this site is still alive today since I also want to purchase smartphones on this site.

Why the dedication to this site in particular? You can use many other websites to buy a "smartphone" using Bitcoin. Even amazon could be used with purse.io

I think op is trying to increase the web traffic to the particular website, because it has been created long back but haven't got more popularity and suddenly making focus towards it seems something out of legitimacy act.
pcworld.com doesn't need one topic posted on Bitcointalk to get traffic lol

There is also this site:

https://all4btc.com/

I would look into it and perhaps some reviews to make sure its legit. Cheers Smiley

Yes it's legit. It's easy to use, you paste a product link, enter adress details and paid with Bitcoin and voila. It is from bitcoinsberlin.com  a german team. They build start up related to Bitcoin They already have Bitwala.io, all4btc.com, and others websites and solutions integration. I knew about them with Bitwala

It sounds good, but I don't know if it will last too long. For Amazon and Ebay to become a big thing it took a lot of time and they were the first out there that had international deliveries or from companies that want to sell only there or so. They will probably be the best ones for a long time. But as far as I know you can pay with BTC on Amazon too.

Amazon is a pure garbage for me. Suspending buyers with no reasons, and ask really silly things to prove identity. You know what, they wanted i ask to my banker to call them lol, don't know why as i have never used any bank details, debt cards with them. They are just hilarious. And about sellers lot of craps conterfeits,

all I know that can be par with Amazon is Ebay but the major one is Alibaba , most products on Amazon comes from Alibaba if my research is right as Alibaba is focus on China and you know that majority of our daily use/things manufactured in China so my verdict is only Alibaba can be on the same level with Bitcoin .

Thankyou guys for telling that amazon items can be purchased through purse.io. I havent heard of this site purse.io. How is this site?
Is this genuine? Those who have used can you please write the feedback about this site?I have one question. Is this site can be used for shopping from amazon.in ? I am not telling about amazon.com. Alibaba is a good site. I have seen a lot of cheap bitcoin miners in this site.
Have anyone tried this site? Just want to know if this site alibaba accepts payments in bitcoin. If so I will definitely buy a bitcoin miner from this site.If anyone knows please write a feedback.

Shopping on Amazon using bitcoins can be done through a third-party site Purse.io, for payment in bitcoins will receive a discount of 5% and more, the site is not entirely correct, not all items are synchronized with Amazon.

Out of curiosity for sure and op telling and assuming if this site is still operating or not.Yes you could able to purchase on amazon by using purse.io but i wont mind on using their service since ive read those feedbacks regarding to them. Thanks for sharing anyway for OP on this link.I would search up if this site is still okay or not.

I have heard also about purse.io but as part of my research I am looking at many areas including the past or present. It is important to know if bitcoin as a mode of payment is really feasible since many sites who accepts bitcoin are no longer accepting bitcoin and that is why I relive this 2014 post to check and ask the community if it is still running and continue to accept bitcoin. But thanks to this info I will try out purse.io to purchase smartphone.

in my opinion a rival of Amazon and ebay that is also using bitcoin needs to be decentralized just like bitcoin itself is. something like OpenBazaar is the obvious choice and if anything is about to take off and take the place of these two i say it is OpenBazaar. although it needs a bit more developement and a more user friendly start.

You havent been reading the posts and discussions made in this thread, have you? Please read all the posts and rewrite your post and try to add more good discussion here. We dont need another statement like yours that has been said again and again here. I will report you to Lauda if you dont stop.

OpenBazaar is soon going to kill all competition, even Malls like this will not match their market. The article is very old, and merchants stop accepting

bitcoins, if people do not use it to buy things at their shops. We saw what happened with Fiverr lately, and my guess is this is what lead to their

decision not to accept Bitcoin any more. Everyone should always have 20% of their coins in circulation to keep this from happening.  Grin

Open Bazaar will have their own set of problems. One big problem is only a few are using it. They also have more than 3 million dollars in VC funding, how do you think are they going to monetize a decentralized network? How are the VCs going to make money out of their investment in Open Bazaar?

The only online giant that can rival Amazon and eBay is Alibaba.
Most of the Amazon and eBay sellers buy stuff form Alibaba to resell.
If Alibaba decides to cut the "middle man" traders ,they could kill the online retail giants.
If Alibaba accepts bitcoin,it would be just perfect.

The article you had shared was almost 3 years ago, we don't have an idea if what exactly the site is. It would be better if you include the official website you are referring so we will know if it does really exist or still existing now. Well, there's a lot of online shop now that accept bitcoin as payments but it is risky cause we don't know if it well trusted. Before buying, we should look first the reviews and other information to prove it is reliable.
