It really depends on what you buy and from where. I don't buy clothes for example because I cant see them and make sure they fit me, but I bought a lot of other stuff online and I can say that all in all I'm happy with my purchase. Except some items that never arrived thru international post, I got on e-bay.

My suggestion is in online shopping if electronic products or other item that are fragile yeah we can't sure that the product will arrived 95-100 percent in condition. Specially in long time to be travelled (international). To make it sure try to study the product, the store and its reviews.

I tried online shopping, it's okay, but my other items already damaged when I received and it's very hassle to return, that's the one thing I don't like online shopping, is that you can't know the durability of the products that you buy and you can't you on your own.
New to Online shopping? shop at your own risk! Even though there are some trustworthy merchants, like alibaba, eBay etc, that I've transacted with in the past, yet I'll advice people to transact with caution! A word is enough for the wise.
Found this interesting article about the future of shopping. It seems that even we physically walk through a store, everything will be "digital." For example, passing by a store will instantly alert your phone with discount codes available, and trying on clothes will be effortless because of virtual mirrors. As for payment, we'll be cashless and cardless. We just need our phones. What a future!

If you are ordering directly from the company or brand website then you are guaranteed quality and reliable product. If you order stuff from classified platform then there's a huge chance you can be scammed or ripped off.
