Why don't you give us the 10pc discount on your site without the 10pc minimum order... then the price would start to get reasonable. 429$ is just crazy, might aswell go on ebay. How is this a group buy at this point? I might be interested in one or two, but for a reasonable price.

Today price for one piece is 450 EUR or over 600USD!!! (with 50USD shipment included)
Imho and based on my recent experience these guys are beyond any common sense:
On ebay their price was (as until of yesterday) around 360 -390USD but selling went very slow. Two days ago I wanted to buy one piece from ebay just to try it but after asking the seller some questions (about shipment, which was way overly priced in one auction) they (aka kowe_pl) told me not to buy in auction as they'll sell me one piece outside ebay at 375+50USD. After repeatedly asking (and getting no reply) for the paypal invoice so I can pay, now they’ve finally said they want me to buy in their store at the crazy price above! Moreover, I see speed is no longer advertised at 5.2GH/s but 5 GH/s +/- 5%, meaning one can get as low as 4.75GH/s!

What do you think of the above situation  (what shall I do?!!/ what would you do if you were in my place?) and also of a possible mining rig built around their USB miner?
What would the highest price be for one of those so as to meet (at the actual diff lvl) ROI in a reasonable time like 3-4 months or, in other words, how many mBTC would a single 5GH/s miner get in 24h? (I see $3.60 a day, thanks mdude77, but not sure at what BTC/USD was that; is it around 4 - 4.5mBTC a day?)
As I’m quite a noob in mining, your opinions are very valuable to me and let me thank you very much in advance for taking some time in sharing your experience to beginners!

Best regards!

Why it is you cannot use "BITFURY" in your Subject?

It gets its name from having two Bitfury chips, hence Bi*fury

In fact, it was named the 'bi•fury', with the BEL character (ASCII 7) Wink

Thank you for the provided informations.

I would instantly pay 200€ of FIAT Money via PayPal per stick but since you accept BTC only it's "no deal" for me.
Same goes for me.

I'd consider paying $75 USD... considering you'd get about $3.60 a day from it until the next difficulty change.

1) Do you also accept PayPal?
2) Do you have acutal pictures of the USB Miners?
3) When will you send the Miners?
4) Are they linux / minepeon / cgminer / bfgminer compatible?

1) only bitcoins accepted
2) plenty of actual pictures can be found here:
http://imgur.com/gallery/9ctaZ
3) each order is shipped within 24 hours
4) linux (yes), minepeon (probably yes if cgminer compiled right), cgminer 3.8.3+ (yes) / bfgminer (still in progress)

yeah they aren't the cheapest one, but still they are less pricy than Red Fury USB miners which have been sold out during 20 days, with higher price.

Technically, yes, since your price is in BTC - but that was when BTC was worth about 1/4 what it is now.

I picked up two Red Furys for 0.32 BTC each that I converted from $130 apiece.  Thus, $260 equivalent would be a comparable price for these, yet you are asking almost double that.  Too rich for me, even though they seem pretty nifty.

Great idea? Mine with them until christmas and then give it as a gift to someone whom you want to introduce to bitcoin.

This is a joke, right?  Spend ~$400 on this overpriced stick then give it away after making chicken scratch in return.

God damn, these hardware people are just turning into snakes.

Hi,

I am very interested and I have some questions:

1) Do you also accept PayPal?
2) Do you have acutal pictures of the USB Miners?
3) When will you send the Miners?
4) Are they linux / minepeon / cgminer / bfgminer compatible?

Thanks in advance,

Tek.

Edit: 0.55 is super expensive these days regarding the peak in BTC value. It would be cool if you could adjust the BTC pricing. ~300€ per stick is killing me. Smiley

For about 1 BTC you can get ERUPTER CUBE. 38 GH/s. If these will be about 0,1-0,15 .. than maybe.

So get yourself erupter cube and some PCI-e power supply, some mining proxy host, additional ethernet cable and voila you are ready to go.
Opposite to plug and play USB powered devices Smiley
no one is really forcing you to buy.
IRL you go to a retail store and tell the seller that his vegetables are too expensive? or you just don't buy the thing and walk away? why not act the same way on the internet.

You know, it was my opinion..nothing else. I have some P&P device (about 70 pcs. mix erupters and red furies) and .. I would like to plug one power supply and not to use more than ten USB hubs and three Pwrspls. But if 5 Ghs USB will be that price like CUBE maybe try some. This price is too high. thats all

For vegetables 'no', for technology items 'yes' I do. Most retailers like to have consumers feedback about their products.

Fair enough.   Grin

Still absurdly overpriced.
