I had that problem on TestNet, you have to delete the chain in the .zcash folder then re-index
Reindex not working on RC4 and mainnet! (stuck on 145 block) On start I tried launch zcashd 20+ times before get success. Now I hold two separate instances of zcash blockchain for "hotplugging" on zcashd crash, but it can't save from wallet corrupting. I already have one 4Mb corrupted wallet.dat... -salvagewallet don't work, I emailed zcash dev team, may be they can help me repair this wallet.dat, but don't receive answer until this moment. I think it's not good start for zcash.

I've been patiently waiting for about 8 hours for a requested payment.

http://coinsforall.io/#!/coin/ZCASH/wallet/t1RuLMkzGVFzx2S2GkUcafen44WwAL5XVw9

Is there any chance this could be the reason why? I have been mining since launch and have only one requested payout despite mining for large swaths of time (hours) without my balance increasing. I've had to look over my miners to make sure they stayed mining through all of the reboots on your end.

I know you're busy but if there is anyway you could pay out since I've been waiting since yesterday afternoon, that would be great.

Yep, as pool admin (with non working pool admin mail address) you should after 12 hours give all you can to restore coins. Yes 12 hours!

Alright, I'm finally getting 500+ sols/s. Too bad a 50 amp breaker switch burnt and I cannot run all of my rigs, but things look pretty good otherwise.

are you able to get the dual miner thing working the army one ?

eXtremal you owe me around 3-4BTCs, how you will pay me?

No he owes you zec. And for those of you that are so damn impatient how about next coin launch figure out how to mine solo or move along.  These pools don't have to exist and really if these coins are ever to be decentralized I'd say pools are counter to that. Had he not released this fast miner that some say is 75% faster but I'll tell you what I went with nicehash and I got to go about my day and not have to worry about what the pools were doing. I got paid a decent amount regardless.  It's about reducing risk.  I'd say you all should have learned a good hard lesson.  Shit happens!

Best Regards

This, I did better than I would on eth, had half my rigs on nice hash half on this pool , I should have stuck with my gutt and went with supernova but I wanted to reward the guy who came up with the new software
and also like you said at least try to decentralize the hash a bit.  Big fail on my part live and learn

I think Nicehash is working, but I don't like them, hopefully OP can get everything working soon.

Agreed, nicehash are a bunch of vultures

The Nicehash miner (or at least a patched version of it) works fine on zcash.flypoool.org - which is run by the *REPUTABLE* folks behind ethermine.org / etherpool.org using industry-standard STRATUM connect protocal.
Genoil works when it's not crashing, but the crashyness is a known issue with the "genoil Zcash miner" - hopefully he'll drop that thing and code his own and blow everything else out of the water.

Nicehash themselves I don't have any use for, their "reported" payouts on their own website on everything I've checked are quite a bit lower than they SHOULD be.

SO far, I am VERY underwhelmed by everything I've been reading about this software and the associated pool.

Get the fuck out of here. You wouldn't have done any better anywhere else, he doesn't owe you dick except your ZEC balance. Entitled piece of shit.

actually he could have done way better at supernova or even nicehash if you don't mind their fees , not that we wil every get recompense for this mess up

I will never pool mine new coins like this again though , solo all the way on the first few days

Hasn't the min payout been reduced to 0.005  ? Mine still shows 0.01 (http://coinsforall.io/#!/coin/ZCASH/wallet/zcJkpwUs3XJbZ4QY9iEMaWhaypxQMx2vaLTXtofjJFrXwYyj1tnVBTeX3qW2LKxW5f5Z129CuqLAUZNeopiDDMvbh5veewn)

Touchdown
I was contributing overnight using t1R5jnGbVH2v21BeWGrNgKwEShgitvdymEP connected to EU stratum, CPU + NVIDIA GPU. Everything seemed to be working fine, but no sign of that address here: http://zcash.nicehash.com/workers

Any ideas?
Can answer this one myself - I had disconnected this morning, so couldn't see stats.
