I don't really ask much from a gambling site review. I just want it to cover what's important for a player, particularly in terms of betting, how fair the games are, what games are in there, what kind of bonuses they offer and other things along those line. You basically covered pretty much what I want to read on such a website. Also, I want the reviews to be as true as possible, and no paid reviews should ever be posted in there (is there even such a thing?) as I believe it loses the credibility of the reviewer and the site being reviewed.

Special mentions on the best and the worst sites to gamble is very much welcome too. Kinda like top picks of all time with a brief statement as to why you chose those in the first place.

Not to be judgmental in most review sites but they are most likely to end up like this on where paid reviews or biases would be there since we know on what are the ways on where review sites can make money neither on traffic or simply getting it from companies that do try to look themselves better publicly thats why im not really expecting that much that they would really be on that trusted in-depth review of a particular gambling site.
On topic, all points had already mentioned out and theres no need to repeat. People do mostly like to know about Fairness and other related stuff inclusive towards the site.

I don't really like review site, some are just being manipulated and we will not have an honest and transparent review. Yes, of course, there are genuine reviews but we cannot tell how many of them are not a dummy. I remember before an ICO is buying positive reviews in their projects to attract users and investors in to their platform. So the authenticity of this review site is not really convincing unless you knew and have tried the platform yourself for a long time.
^ Definitely right, it is easy to use random dummy accounts and give positive reviews even though the site has going shady stuff towards its users.
Sometimes we think, Ohh it is almost convinced me through their fake reviews. In choosing a perfect gambling site, we should test first with a small amount of money and use their freebies as a welcome bonus if they have, like free spin or faucet. Nevertheless, this is only my opinion I won't blame other gamblers who were relying upon reviews of random users that we even don't know.

If you are reviewing a casino that is found in bitcointalk then maybe adding the ANN thread they have here in the forum will likely be good for the casino. This will also be transparent so that anyone will also see what other people say about them and not just the information you provide. Maybe also the promo of the casinos and whether they allow bankroll investment.

Since you were asking in the other thread, I will put my suggestions here. But it's all about betting, because I am not into that casino stuff (I just use the free spins you get from time to time^^). And I am not really using review sites, I like to check the sites on my own and I often find these reviews very non-telling tbh. Aaaaaaaaaaaand I don't like ref-links Grin

In a review (about a bookmaker) I would like to see:

  • Information about the vig.
  • Information about general staking limits (can be general like low, medium, high etc.)
  • The odds provider they use.
  • A hint about how fast you get limited.
  • If they are frontrunners with publishing their odds.

In general I would like to see following pages/features:

  • A betting agent review site (with partners, fees, deposit/withdraw options etc.)
  • A page with general industry news.
  • A (frequently updated) overview of bookmakers and their mirror sites, where you are allowed to open an account too.
  • An overview of bookmakers and the odds provider they use.
  • A list of bookies to avoid.

I initially thought that you are going to build a gambling review website? No?

Anyhow, you have taken down notes already and I would agree that it is good gauge for a gambling review sites. And those structures will come in handy if ever you build the website and please let the gamblers know so that we can give you constructive criticism.

Yep, I will build a gambling review site.

And I want to build it based on what people want to have in it.

If you have so many gambling games that you already review, maybe you can create one page about guidelines to play every game because I believe that not all people will know how to play the gambling games, even for the easiest gambling games. The guidelines will help new people when they visit the gambling games for the first time, so they can visit on that page, read how to play the games, and with the bonus that they got from every gambling game, they can start to try the games. The guidelines will be available for all of the gambling games that are available on every gambling site.

Thanks to the opinions here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/opinion-needed-what-do-you-want-to-see-in-a-gambling-site-review-5261708

I've built the following structure below about Gambling Reviews.

What else would you add to this?

These were the OP questions:

What do you want to see in a gambling site review?

I want to understand what people want to read about, besides the standard pros & cons list, supported currencies, etc.

What will you find truly useful in such a review?

Short (head):

Main Pros & Cons
Is it provably fair for real?
Supported coins
Offered games

Then the full review, based on the real playing experience. Trying to be as much objective as possible, staying unbiased.

After playing for a while:

- Bonuses & promotions: terms, do they offer rakeback, tournaments, chat & community events, wagering competitions, etc.

- User Interface and what experience it's offering

- Offered games in details

- Supported coins in details

- Provably Fair system - how does it work, is it really provably fair and how to check your bets

- TOS: Is something sneaky there. Do they require KYC?

- Deposits & Withdraws - limits, how easy and how fast they are, etc.

- Site support & security: How quickly do they answer queries, do they offer 2FA, emergency withdrawing address, etc.

- Checking for open Scam accusations and mark the sites.

With screenshots of the interesting points.

Thank you
