What is your price prediction? you think Eth is going to drop below 0.0035?

In the long term don't be surprised if it even drops below 0.001 BTC.

Nothing against the project but that is the nature of crypto trading at the moment. Not much new money is flowing in and speculators jump from one coin to the next depending on what is hot right now.

I invested in the IPO, and sold everything a few weeks ago... not because I don't believe in what they are doing, but because it was the right play. They have imo the best development around. I have been following them since day one, and their forum on Reddit is crazy. Tons of activity. Developers are attracted to it, which makes it unique.

I'm still waiting to buy back cheaper, but the day will come when I will probably go all in. If I go broke, then so be it. At least I'm giving my bet a chance, as opposed to betting on some crappy coin with no future. Been there, done that.

Imo I don't think it will hold at this level. 30,000 coins daily is a lot of pressure, plus it's still in Beta. I'm curious to see what will happen with Augur after Oct 1st. Speculators will probably short it to 0.0024. Will it go back to IPO levels... I don't think so. Would be nice though.  Grin The one thing about ETH is all the interest it is getting from the BIG BOYS. An announcment could be delivered tommorrow, or next week, and the price could rocket. This is a risk if you are sitting on the sidelines, but scalping is a good way to offset any potential losses if it does.

Here is a good link for speculation...  https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader

If there is something sure we can say this is that the Ethereum price will rise a lot after the four phases of development, when the coin will be in PoS.

After a little while I did some research and I think I am starting to understand this project is so big, after allit is one of the largest crowd funded projects am I right?

You are right, not only Ethereum project raised lots of money, Augur (one of the projects based on Ethereum Blockchain) is currently raising more than 4.5 Millions of $.

From a purely trading point of view, it is going to slowly bleed out for many months, maybe for even over a year. There will spikes and crashes so good profits if youre a margin trader, ortherwise better to stay out of it till it goes close to bottom.

ETH is big hype and big players and big money

it is going to get dumped
then stacked up by those in the loop

still don't know
1- how is it mined? what tech?
2- what will it actually do ... for the average joe?

but it is likely forever Top5
too much capital to go all XPY

btc ripple ltc eth (#5 coin is so far back it doesn't even need mention).

All altcoins follow the same cycles and until the time crypto currencies are demanded by the masses this will continue, their time will come.

all that i can say now for sure is that Ethereum had more hype around itself than it had real value. and in my opinion this is why we are seeing continues price decline and i predict that it is is going to continue being this way until it reaches a floor value or if we see any significant new changes in Ethereum.

I don't think Ethereum is a long term investment. Before im thinking Ethereum will have a higher price but when I remember Stellar and the ETH price is going down, Ah I think this alt will going to be like stellar, as well as CLAMS. Anyways thats only what Im thinking right now. Just my opinion.

I guess that Ethereum is the first of its kind and may be the substitute for Bitcoin. However, there are a lot of copycats coming in with extra new features that may overcome the Ethereum proposal.

I'm badly waiting for the end of this shitty bear market that keeps crypto so unprofitable the last 2 years.
But in the other hand the longer it takes, the more chance we have to get cheep coins.
I think, everything will raise further somewhen. I was already sure, that this would have happend last year, but seems like the market is waiting for something.
Ether is not so different, than other coins, but in my opinion it can be one of the leading coins in the long run.

Agree would be nice to see one of the cryptos making it big in the commercial world.

Something to ponder, to take a punt on 100 ethers ($90), you would need to invest $5,366 (BTC23)in Bitcoin to achieve the same percentage investment of the total final market cap. (100/90,000,000 and BTC23/21,000,000)

Disclosure: I'm a Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple holder amongst a couple of others.
