Actually this is what we call as a earning opportunity but still the price hasn't been going down so quickly. I won't call it a golden opportunity but yeah if you buy some bitcoins now surely you will have a chance at selling for much higher price in next 2 months for sure.

Though these all the answers given by the above posts and even by me and our personal opinion and don't just buy what you can't afford in case price does not increase.

It's better just to keep on believing and trusting bitcoin. The opportunity is already given by just keeping your coins at any of your storage, web wallet, cold storage. But with op's suggestion of converting it to some other alt coins, for me, it's a good idea as long as you know what you are doing and you are also ready for taking the risk.
Altcoins trading has become quite shit, I would suggest that we just keep in the wallet and sell them at a better price.

If I were a trader, I would sell off Bitcoin at the moment. That's the only opportunity I see now.
Well you can say that but I can always guarantee mate that the price will increase much much higher in coming weeks. Though I won't be making a statement but you can see soon and thank me later.

As we all are aware that the price of bitcoin is drastically going down so can we called this a trading opportunity.
What i was thinking is all the people who are currently holding bitcoin can convert it to any alt like maybe monero and let the price of bitcoin go more down and then buy when yiu think the price won't grow more.

Disclaimer:
I would recommend only for those people to do who will get some sort of profit by selling their bitcoin if you purchased at a higher then i would recommend you to refrain from doing this.

Yes because it wont work with just a low number of bitcoin considering the buying rate will always be too higher than the selling rate. Maybe 1 or 2 bitcoin could be felt but below that? It is not much profitable or you might even lose some without knowing it.
I agree with the waiting thing or if your bitcoin is in a trading website then it will be faster.
Just pick the right altcoin to where you would do your trade or else it might lower the capital that you have input there.

Trading is always opportunity just depends how you use it, will you make the profit or loss, depends how skilled and experienced you are. This opportunity is not for everyone and not everyone would know how to deal with it so at the end they could be very disappointed. If you watch the market very closley and follow all the trends you could have opportunities almost every day.
Yes, with respect to bitcoin trading the basics of trading got new dimension in my view. Because the opportunities are always available for bitcoin traders and they are always making sure shot profits by simply holding their bitcoins relatively some long durations which is not at all available with any other type of trading.

We never need to worry about opportunities in bitcoin trading because people do always say every price is good enough to enter. Because they will hold their positions to make profits, yes the second chances are always there.

an opportunity to trade: absolutely. if you are a trader be 100% sure that it is a good opportunity to trade bitcoin and make a lot of money because of the volatility. this doesn't mean it is going to be easy though.

an opportunity to buy/sell: this is becoming tricky, if you want to invest or if you were trying to sell on top and buy at the bottom once then i am afraid it is not easy to do. as a day trader you can find ups and downs and make profit from them but to find a top and sell to buy back at bottom is hard right now because it has already gone down and the resistance for going lower is getting bigger and bigger with traders competing with each other to set buy orders.
The first reason people choose to trade is because of its wide opportunity to earn. But do not thik that it may be easy because in trading especially on bitcoim there is always a risk. So one should always monitor the price and the value to know when to buy or sell or even to hold on incoming changes on rate and price. It maybe a sure good oppurtunity just continue to work hard and to always focus on tradings to earn.

your suggestion was not in favor I think  for the community here. And I dont know why are you recommending monero as a replacement in bitcoin..are you promoting it or what? But honestly speaking I will not apply to shift all my bitcoin savings in any altcoin like what you had just saying.

No pain, no gain, higher profit means higher risk.  I also agree with OP's idea and is really best if we can do it successfully.  It may need a higher level of trading skill, so if we are just starting out, it will be best to learn the market first.  Know the environment of the target altcoin and pick the one that is not yet pumped or had been stagnant for so long (stagnant but with stable support). In short, do a thorough research.  If we cannot do this stuff, I believe it is better to just hold Bitcoins and wait for it to increase.

Yeah. Just hold in right now and don't think of ever selling it and go pump alt-coin again. If you don't like to buy bitcoin now because of its current price, then why not go to alt-coin instead of selling it. Hold it now and don't take the risk of selling it. Just think of it as your investment for longer term.

It is not an opportunity in my opinion. Bitcoin wad the start of all the crypto currencies and doing something like this will just hurt the price more rather than giving any profit to it.
I know that there are only some people in the Bitcoin universe who legitimately think of Bitcoins future. But we have to think about it rather taking advantage of the situation.
But our selling will always be someone else's buying, and if the plan is to buy back in fairly soon, that'll be great because other people will benefit from buying at a lower price.

But it's too late now, the price has gone way back up.
I doubt that it is too late now to buy bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is still low and the last price was $1300 high. So i don't think it is late now because you can still buy a lot of bitcoins and hold it for a bit long time and sell it for a higher price where you can get satisfaction with your possible profits.
Yes that's true it's never late in bitcoin if you see the only best thing to buy bitcoins at a low price is more profit and nothing else. Even if you buy bitcoin at 1200$ within few months the price will reach 1400$ and some people bought at 900$ so the only difference is the profit earned that's it nothing else.
we should be able to do the proper analysis to be able to predict the price of bitcoin.
but looking at the movement today is the purchase bitcoin is a right decision.

Yeah, the prediction is the most important way to get an advantage in a way. Because the prediction gives an overview that is pretty good in a step to be taken or things that will happen in the future. For bitcoin also requires analysis and prediction as well, however in the bitcoin we don't always do the analysis and predictions. Because the price of the bitcoin definitely will experience ups and downs, just waiting for the right time to do the analysis and prediction of correctly

I see an opportunity to sell Bitcoin when it goes very high ($1200) and buy a major altcoin that is low. Really this is just basic trading Bitcoin to an altcoin but once you buy the altcoin, you can trade it for USD if Bitcoin holds a high price. It's a little hard to trade Bitcoin while the price stays so high.
Yeah its so really hard t trade if the bitcoin price is so high (not an hard) but your right because if bitcoin price is pumping, then altcoin would dump for sure, so the best way that we need to do is buy an altcoin that trully dump like STRAT (it dumps to 30k and now it pump to 60k) what a nice pump and dump

Why i really don't get it. Why do we even need to analyse the price of bitcoin so that predict the future price. If you bought bitcoin before the current price then you are in a profit. Basically bitcoin is like a profit machine, or like a plant the more you hold the more it grows. Analysis is only for alts.

i agree with you, there is not too late to buy bitcoin for now, as we see the price giving a good price in last night and until now the price is going to increase. we still can make profit with this increasingly of the price but if we want to make more profit, then we should waiting for more and its still worth to hold bitcoin for more longer than we sell now.
As long as the market is moving then we can still make a lot of profits if we are just a good professional trader. A good trader can make money with bitcoin without holding it for long thru short term trading where he take advantage of the high price of bitcoin and its fast movement. If bitcoin is too high then it is not worth it hold for long because it is more worth to trade it for short term rather than long term to avoid big losses.

This statement of yours was a very horrible idea in my point of view, why will I do that? to convert my bitcoin into altcoin, it's not a good idea dude! Bitcoin it maybe  drop but it doesn't mean it will down straight to zero, In fact, the price value now of bitcoin is really calming because it move upward and recovering it now.
