Have you ever traded options in crypto?

As I see this kind of trading isn't that popular compared to traditional trading.
From what I know Deribit exchange offer options trading and I saw it on Binance futures platform( but it is raw, I won't trade there at the moment)

With options trading you can earn tremendous profit on big unpredictable movements, especially when expiration date is soon and price of options is low.
Yeah, I got into Options trading quite recently and luckily found Sparrow exchange to start with. Its a lot easier to trade thanks to their UI and simplicity. Now, they've even launched mobile friendly version of it. You can trade Options just a few clicks. Check it out.

Wow, I feel like we're talking about gambling here lol! I'm aware of options trading however I prefer traditional trading. I'm a kind of perfectionist therefore I always want to do anything in my control. Even though traditional trading still doesn't allow me to control a lot of things but at least I can manage my risk and set my target profit!
If you are talking about control, whats better than options? You could utilize it like an insurance and take control of the price. So, even if BTC goes down to 0, you get your money back.

Options trading are so important that they are more versatile to traders and great way to risk them. Determines the maturity date of cryptocurrency option trading is fixed. There is no point in exercising the option out of money. In such a scenario, only premium or t he money paid to secure that option will be lost. The options are clear to new investors, so it seems to be a bit complicated and clear trading is more complicated.

I have a small amount of experience trading options, but find they are much more complicated than simply trading Bitcoin futures on a platform like BitMEX or Deribit. Sure, the fact that you are not obligated to buy or sell when the contract expires definitely opens up more room for complex trading strategies, but they also suffer from lower liquidity and more slippage when sh*t hits the fan, that's why I prefer to stick with good 'ole futures.

I did see that Bakkt is adding options to its platform though, but since it's only for licensed investors and institutions right now, we won't get to see if they're any easier to handle:

On bitmex options are very simple (less on Deribit) and yes the liquidity is still low on the market options of Bitmex but I don't understand how you could get negative slippage with limit orders on Bitmex.  Huh Moreover if you don't want slippage at all(even positive one) you just need to enable the "Post-Only" option for your orders.

crypto exchange has started to adopt the forex system, exchanges began to develop many ways to meet the demand of traders, so trading has many varied choices, in crypto I prefer to trade traditionally than with the deribit option, although this option can increase the strength of capital and provide more profit, but also has a huge risk.

I have not and would not try anytime soon. I can see a huge amount of risk in option trading. The risk I can compare with margin or leverage trading. Of course there is a tremendous amount of potential profit since it should be commensurate to the amount of risk also, but I guess it is not worth my rudimentary trading skills. And it appears to me that without very detailed TAs, one trading with options is like blindly placing a bet with 100% uncertainty.
Yes, risk is even more than on margin trading. Options can worth 0 after expiration. But you can buy options for small part of deposit. Let's say you hold btc when price is around 12 k and you buy put options with 9-10 k strike just to hedge your position. Probably I will buy options before halving
I don't understand why you say the risk is greater than with margin trading?  Huh With margin trading you can also lose all your funds if you are liquidated, it's exactly the same thing.

Because i am kind of people that sometime rely on luck because can't analyze about prize, that is why i keep lose in it. If trading as usual at least i can hold my coin longer.
If you already know that you rely on luck, why even bother continuing the same path only yielding a loss? In your case it's pure gambling that you do, so common sense should tell you that you will only lose in the long run.

There is a reason why these platforms pop up constantly.... if it was profitable for most people these platforms wouldn't exist. I suggest you to keep spot trading, which is much better for your mental wellbeing.

Have tried it before, IDSoption if me not wrong. But not fit with trade like that. Because i am kind of people that sometime rely on luck because can't analyze about prize, that is why i keep lose in it. If trading as usual at least i can hold my coin longer.

the risk of a large return is great, that's what describes options trading. To be honest, I've tried trading this type of seemingly easy, but if you already use a lot of capital it feels heavy.
so I joined a group that traded options and put my money there, I already knew the risks, so I didn't feel that this was something bad, because the profits could be worth it.

I always prefer doing Crypto Trading and platforms like Binance, Coinbase and others are top names to look at. We just have to ensure that whatever option we pick has good standing, as that’s where we hold better chance. I don’t think it’s all easy but it’s all very much doable and only if we trust our self. I always do that and it helps a lot with how we move to trading no matter whatever route we work for doing it.

I haven't checked the Binance platform for a while.. are they really offering options?
Yes, I mean Binance JEX, they vere acquired by Binance and offer futures and options. But at the moment this platform isn't high quality and need to be developed and some bugs to be fixed. But I think after 2-3 months I will try options there

Decentralized exchanges are most preferred one but centralised exchanges only being used since I know.
Especially B Exchanges such as bitrex, Binance and bitfinex are majorly considered and investment also bigger in number.

With options trading you can earn tremendous profit on big unpredictable movements, especially when expiration date is soon and price of options is low.

You can also gain a considerable loss if your position is wrong. The quick close time is a double-edged sword because somebody can manipulate it if they have enough capital, and there are a lot of accusations about binary options trading. It's considered as risky as gambling.

You can google it or check at https://www.jex.com/.

I've recently started trading on SparrowExchange and can vouch for them. Simple and clean UI. Havent faced any issues as of yet. They are very helpful on their telegram group as well, in case you have any questions to ask.

Options are an alternative to spot trading or they can be efficiently used as a hedge against your spot positions. They are a derivative product so IMO they shouldn't be approached by beginners until they don't have a firm grip of technical analysis and risk management. Of course the understanding of all the details of options is a must before using them. As always I recommend getting your feet wet by using very small stakes so you get comfortable with using them.
