OST is one of my new long-term investment coins. The performance since I bought was pretty good. I am really very happy to see how the team inform the community and how hard they work. The community is also very strong. I hope this positive attitude between the team and the community will continue.
I think the only problem with this coin is the competition.

Kicking off OST KIT⍺ Phase II: Developer Proofs of Concept Challenge

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who applied for OST KIT⍺ Phase II and to all of you who helped us spread the word. We received over 250 applicationsfrom all over the world!
OST KIT⍺ Phase II is an opportunity for developers to build a Proof Of Concept (POC) coded integration between their website/app/platform and the OST KIT blockchain toolkit. Development teams applied by submitting a description of their proposed POC project and their team’s capabilities to us by 6 April, 2018. The OST team then selected projects that we felt captured the spirit of the program and who demonstrated a good likelihood of completing the task.

I am simply amazed on how OST involves the community and thankful to be part of it..

The last few weeks have been a blast: Team OST has been making steady progress on a number of fronts. From launching OST KIT⍺ for public testing to on-boarding new people, and from further advancements on the OST platform and the OpenST protocol to opening new offices! In this month’s update we’ll bring you up to speed on a wide range of topics, starting with the latest additions to our team.

OST token was issued during the alpha test when the platform was opened to developers.

Our team did a quick analysis on Neblio. TBH it’s hard to tell what they are really doing as there’s not much specifics technically in the white paper. Here are our quick feedback points:

- Very general definitions of the scalability problem, blockchains, enterprise adoption, distributed applications, nothing going into the specifics of the implementation.
- No Mention of using the Ethereum mainnet, again to independently develop a platform (an independent blockchain), on the scale of ethereum without having thought about using the developments made in the sector by them, without any details in the paper as to why they chose that option is quite alarming. One has to give details as the to the issues with existing tech and how to improve upon it before going ahead and declaring that something new would be built entirely from scratch.
- Their timeline shows that they would be releasing “Through the use of a set of uniform and open-source RESTful APIs in a variety of languages (Python, Go, JS, Ruby, .NET, Java, Node.js) businesses large and small will rapidly deploy next-gen applications on the Neblio Blockchain Network like never before seen in the blockchain ecosystem”,  what are the details on this never before seen ecosystem? The details are hazy.
- The details on how the APIs interface with the blockchain are not present.
- Very general definitions of security, immutability, and reliability , talking about decentralised mesh networking without going into specifics, Red flag!
- Very General applications of the blockchain use cases mentioned like Secure Records Mgmt, Regulatory compliance & Audit trains, IOT & Big data.
- They go into saying they will be supporting many languages on their APIs. Which is quite a mouthful without the details on how to do it.
Enterprise Driven requirements are asked for from people participating in the development but there are not tokens for the same. as 96% of the tokens are distributed.
- Private blockchain development : Neblio talks about business services for private healthcare blockchains for cases where information on the blockchain must be encrypted for security, but no further details on this are provided.

It's not an Airdrop. Airdrop implies free distribution of tokens to all token holders. Which this is not. This is a distribution of tokens to a specific list of people who participated in the Early Adopter Rewards Program of OST KIT alpha. And only to those people. And not in equal amounts as some have perform better and thus will be rewarded with a larger amount of tokens. 🙏

With regards to the wallet. Yes, they are working on a consumer facing wallet that will be able to hold both OST and Branded Tokens created with OST.
