Let's not forget that you don't need to do anything special to earn bitcoin. You can pretty much earn bitcoin the same way people earn other currencies: jobs, gigs, businesses, and such.

Also, though you're technically "earning" something through faucets, is it really going to be worth your time?

You've stated it exactly as it is. Bitcoin is just a form of payment like any other.

BTCBTCThe way I used to get bitcoins was by playing the faucet, because in the past getting bitcoins with the faucet was still very easy and a decent income, but if getting bitcoins for now seems very difficult, I can't rely on the faucet alone because currently there are so many faucet sites that don't pay  and cheats, in my opinion if you want to get bitcoin better join a project that has a campaign to promote their project and you will get rewarded.
Faucet nowadays is just scams,Only few made payments but with very very cheap amount.

If you really wanted to earn Bitcoin then make sure you can part of Bitcoin paying signature campaigns or You have skills that can offer to pay you bitcoin.

but if you are just a Bounty Hunter?then the chance of earning Bitcoin(By converting your altcoins to bitcoin) are very rare to happen.

What do  you do to earn bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency coins?
Here are some few ideas how.

1. Betting - I tried betting some at freebitco.in at a football match, a 50-50 chance and a test of luck
2. Faucet - faucet is well known for some dudes who want to earn free bitcoin but it takes time to save even 0.5 bitcoins
3. Mining - very well known for investors but you need either a GPU (graphics processing unit) or an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) in order to set up a mining rig. There are also many scam and fake mining websites so be careful.
4. Writing for a cryptocurrency blogs - there are many websites that accept guest post and pay you for it like coincentral.com

You can write down what you do to earn some bitcoins, I will be interested.
Now that Crypto valley can pay taxes with bitcoin and etherium, some here is finding a way how to earn more.

1. If making a betting, I dare not take too big a risk. and it is forbidden in my religion.
2. Doing the faucet takes a very long time to collect Bitcoin. and it wastes a lot of my time.
3. Mining requires a lot of capital, and I don't have much capital in it.
4. Write articles on blogs? I do not have the talent to write writing.

I chose to join the bounty and airdrop program to earn cryptocurrency. Although sometimes the coins I get are very small in value, that's all I can do.

maybe those days are a bit over when getting Bitcoin by playing faucets and freebitco.in, I just hope the signature bounty campaign writes reliable articles for now, and a little bit of trading in altcoins that doesn't require a lot of capital to profit

Bitcoin and crypto ecosystem are actually very poor in terms of earning opportunities, and what's worse, they're also full of scams. In 99% cases it's more efficient to earn fiat money and convert some of it to crypto. Especially for beginners, who due to their lack of experience can be scammed or will waste their time on bad offers. Bounties, trading, sig campaigns - they aren't a replacement for a real job.

for now, all I can do to get bitcoin or cryptocurrency is to follow the signature campaign available for members who have good quality posts and contributions to this forum.

Earning bitcoins from betting I don't really understand and never tried.
At the moment, Fauset can't produce much, so I never do it again.
Mining is capital intensive and using multiple RIG GPUs is currently unprofitable and expensive on electricity and internet usage.

Airdrops and bounties still exist, but you have to be really selective in choosing a good project and really pay.

Some of these are very risky like betting.
Some of them are waste of time like Faucet.
Mining?? Maybe it can be profitable if you are not paying a high electricity bill and that isn't the case for most of the countries.
Blog writing is good too since they can pay you. On the 4 that you said I think the last is the one that I will recommend for the newbies.

I earn my Bitcoins thru Signature campaign and trading it to gain more profit Cheesy.

I don't do some faucets, airdrops and mining right now.
 I am focusing on these four cycles of my life that gives me my other income aside from my job;

  • Trading
  • Signature Campaign
  • Gambling
  • Long term Holder

While others can earn depends on skills and talents they have like writing an article, social media promotions, etc. But everyone here can earn  in cryptocurrency based on what interests we have on it.

This cycle of activities are good enough. As opportunities of gaining good benefits once you learned how things really works from each venues can

sustained of can bring decent amount of profits. You just need to understand that skills and your dedications will put you in the place where you'll be able to continuously benefiting from each participation that you'll going to do, Though it's isn't a guarantee but the chance is much higher.

Learned from reading and watching then apply. Every knowledge counts it's always up to you how things will works.

This is most plausible way. The one OP listed such as betting is too risky. Earning means you gain something out of work. Betting is some kind of form of investment where you take risk and gamble same as trading.

Aside from signature campaign and social bounty, earning bitcoin could include skills and talent that we are used to. I saw a lot of artists in the section that can be commisioned for btc and altcoin payment. Its like used your talent to earn crypto is always a good choice.

so this is a thread to help people to earn a crypto in different way , i thought you are looking for payment method other than crypto but that will also be strange since you are here in a crypto forum and its a disrespect to talk about other payment methods on here  . earning 0.5 btc on a faucet ? that sounds to good to be true , i never earned that huge amount by working anywhere  but to earn it on faucet is somewhat impossible  .  you can earn something on faucet but only small amount .

dont think you can earn that huge amount in faucet. never encounter up until now generating that amount of btc. anyway, if you have programming skills and experience, or a visual graphic artist , there are a lot of jobs requiring that kind of skills here and just browse this section - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

also, one way to earn free crypto is by joining sig campaigns here in the forum, either paid with btc or alts. but in terms of alts, need to meticulously study the project because most of them are crap and will not deliver their agreements with hunters.

That's absolutely right. These days you can ear cryptocurrency in ways other than the traditional ones, some of which were mentioned in the initial post.

Many industries now have the option of payment via crypto, these jobs can vary from the crypto space like community manager on Telegram groups to even gardening in some places. So, literally almost any industry can provide you with ways to earn crypto now its a matter as to what you're willing to stake out  Tongue

Just work for it, like you would for any other form of money. Difference being that with crypto looking for jobs and earning money globally has become easier than ever.

Maybe you can see this thread: 100 Ways To Earn Bitcoin ★★★★★. Technically, it's not 100 though, as the OP was able to list 73, and he/she hasn't updated it for years. But basically, you can see the whole picture.

0.5 BTC?

You will not reach that even you do it for a year or two or even more. Maybe you can if you have tremendous faucets managing and you are the owner which allows you to earn through ads.

But if a normal faucet visitor, it's hard even you have a lot of referrals using your faucet referral link.

Your list doesn't sound like it really works.
It sounds more like wasting your time doing a lot of work with a slight chance of earning Btc. Betting doesn't really give you profit, faucets will kill your time and it takes forever to withdraw your earnings, It's not easy to set up a mining rig consider first the expenses to build the harder ware plus the energy consumption, and it's not easy to make a blog, considering not everyone is skilled in writing.

One of the most effective way to earn Btc is to buy Btc and hold it until it reaches new heights. Less effort, sure profit.

1. Betting - I tried betting some at freebitco.in at a football match, a 50-50 chance and a test of luck
If you're a fan of gamble, then you might find betting a good sport for you.

2. Faucet - faucet is well known for some dudes who want to earn free bitcoin but it takes time to save even 0.5 bitcoins
Faucets is the number one bitcoin earner, with no capital just time and effort you will get some bits. But don't give some clueless people this hope that they will take time to save 0.5bitcoins coz that will probably take them 10years, maybe 5 if you find a good one.

3. Mining - very well known for investors but you need either a GPU (graphics processing unit) or an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) in order to set up a mining rig. There are also many scam and fake mining websites so be careful.
Mining is difficult to do now, there are less rewards due to halving and the competition is very high driven by the mining pools.

4. Writing for a cryptocurrency blogs - there are many websites that accept guest post and pay you for it like coincentral.com
Hmmm It is quite new to me.

You can write down what you do to earn some bitcoins, I will be interested.
Just like betting, we have trading this is the best way to earn cryptocurrencies but this is risky if you got no knowledge about what you are doing.
You better study for like a month before entering trading crypto.

I wonder how come you forget the most legitimate way to earn cryptocurrency in your list??

Cryptocurrency trading is the most genuine and legitimate way to make money. There are many exchanges available where you can load money from your bank and start trading cryptocurrency.

GPU mining is dead unless you have access to hundreds of GPU available at your disposal. Nowadays you will need specialized mining hardwares to mine bitcoin. So it's not really a newbie thing anymore!
