I think the current method is good enough like airdrop, bounty and others. The problem is the results we receive later are not satisfactory. Therefore, I think the method above does not need to be replaced but only the payment is replaced, it must be paid directly with coins that already have a price. Thus the project that appears is not just any project that only wants to find funding and run away after profit.

Outside the forum and cryptocurrency associated platform the available way of digital marketing is through paid advertising. Most of the projects won't use it for various reasons. Most common being the cost factor, next is the worthiness of the project. Many projects come up with good plans, but due to some issues in between it gets termed to be a scam. This when promoted through paid promotion it'll also affect their reputation. For this reason most promotions happens within the cryptocurrency community.

Can New projects and platforms derive another means of projecting or advertising their products here on bitcointalk or other social media. the days of Airdrops are over and currently airdrops are not beneficial because most tokens received during airdrops are not sufficient enough to be transferred to an exchange. same can be seeing for ICO. it has been upgraded to IEO.

It can, in my experience i have seen so many platforms are doing marketing campaign through use the facebook ads. But again, that consumes a lot of money compared when you are trying to use the bounty campaign as your marketing technique. There is no a lot of ways to do a marketing campaign that doesn't cost a lot of money. You can advertise through using the google ads or something else but i think the developer is also thinking about how can they manage their money. The efficiency of the banner advertisement is still a big question, consider when you are using the service that already made by the big platform. That means you are targetting all of the people and how much people that will be interested in your banner can't be defined.

no, the only way to promote the most effective is here, on the bitcointalk forum. because in this bitcointalk forum all those who are interested in the crypto industry gather and discuss. so the project will easily get investors and funds. therefore the project must better manage the bounty so that in the future it will run more fair for the team and the bounty hunter.

Bitcoin FTW!
It is possible to do promotion outside the forum but it does require higher funding compared to bounty campaigns, plus if you use advertising on social media, there may be many people who do not understand crypto well. so I think all ways of advertising have their own advantages and disadvantages
Advertising outside of specifically crypto-oriented places like this forum can be a good thing for some projects if these projects are designed to be simple to understand and newbie-friendly as you're getting a new set of eyes to look at your project outside of the typical crypto investors that might otherwise skip over your project for something else, but I do agree that it's certainly not the most effective way to attract investors as there are also plenty of people that just don't care about cryptocurrency or still think it's too difficult to understand or other reasons too. Might be a good idea to try if you've got the funds to do so, however.

Actually the main purpose of the bounty or airdrop is to advertise the project so that the wider dissemination of information either through social media, YouTube, this forum, etc. If there are other ways that can be more effective by holding a contest with fantastic prizes, for example by article or video making a contest that can be used directly later by the developer to advertise their project. It can also be done by placing advertisements on well-known websites related to cryptocurrency such as Coinmarketcap.

there can be many ways that can be done, as long as you have the funds to pay the ad provider. Can put banners on Coinmarketcap and ICO review websites and much more. The funds needed are also quite a lot more in comparison with the bounty campaign. On Facebook, Twitter, Telegram can use paid advertising and will reach everyone.

There are now many platforms for campaigning for a project and now there are also many social media platforms that are very well known and can bring in many investors no exception to this forum, and chances are the people in this forum are of course crypto holders so there is a big chance of getting investors are also in this forum.

You should understand that bounty isn't just bounty because tokens are given for free but because people are paid base on the works done. And the work is preaching the gospel of the project to the public which is done through the social media. Social media are the best means of reaching people nowadays and that is why they are the selected platform on which bounties are run.

1.Coinmarketcap and similar websites.

2.ICO review sites.

But marketing is not alone going to make a project successful,it depends on lot of factors. First they need to build the community gradually because it will not happen over night.

can, but maybe the costs will be greater. if they do a promotion using a bounty campaign they only need to set aside a few tokens for the campaign while advertising on social media requires large funds if you want to expand the desired area

Marketing must be on all social media, but the most important thing is the strategy of the developer, how to run smoothly and many are interested in the project.
This forum is also very effective, all the information that knows about the new project from this forum, so the bounty and Airdrop that is held here will help promote it.
But what I regret is that if there is a new project, why is their IEO on the market that is not good, even bad reputation? (P2pb2b)

Medium, Reddit, i think there are a lot of ways to reach people in any online platform. And usually which contain crypto news is like what i mention before. I think if project think bounty is not really good for them anymore, they will do anything else to promote their project.

because basically that platform is the most people use , although i am not sure that platform will make attention for huge investors.
but well, may its just make a trend on ICO category , and i am cleary see there is nothing better than that platform ,btw, recently Instagram has become an additional choice for Ico marketing .

Recently many projects have chosen to target the potential markets and build a community of projects there. However, this approach is quite local and makes the project not widely known around the world. So I think bounty is still a cost effective way for marketing today, even though the impact is sometimes less than expected.

The only place left for ICO marketing is paid advertising in social media platforms like Linkedin. But majority of the ICO companies usually don't use paid advertising because of the cost factor. Otherwise, that's the only marketing platform that I see less used in crypto segment!

Also I think, video streaming platforms like youtube or vimeo or dailymotion have not been used properly for ICO marketing! So you might have a chance to explore that platform. Majority of the ICO marketing videos are quite poorly created with rubbish animation and broken voices!

Apart from these two platforms, I don't think any other methods are left unused! Hope this helps!
