Money can change and rule the world, without money you can't buy anything like personal needs and wants which is a nature of a man to have those. You can't say that money can't bring happiness unless you have the money that you can buy all of the things you want so I humbly says that money can buys everything.
There is something that we must all know, to achieve many things you must have money, without money it is very difficult to live, survive, for this work was created. I agree, if you really love your job money is not going to be everything. Let's say someone would over you 500 USD more per month for a complete different job, with a grumpy old boss and no real coworkers. A job that you wouldn't enjoy a lot. Would you really switch just for the money? I think the older we get the more important are things like health, family and friends.

Just because you work for the money and money makes the world function properly does not mean money is the boss or is in control, such notion will lead you to have such negative thoughts to earn by any means necessary,

You are right about your money working for you at some point, it is very possible that a person will get to a stage in their life where they will seat back and watch their investments (in the form of their money) work for them i .e generating profit from what they have investment, I would also love to have this experience at some point in life
The point is money is essential in this world, to live a comfortable life or to survive, we need money. People are becoming greedy because of it and if you have money you're capable to do anything and think highly of yourself. Its not right but that's the reality, if you're penniless they will look down on you.
But life is not all about money, yes it is essential but there's more important thing aside from money and that is genuine happiness that is priceless. We can continue working and strive hard to have a better life but lets not forget that our life has a limit so make the most out of it.

Everybody needs money. This is one of the fundamental needs for humans to survive. Like how air and water is. Sorry for being a bit philosophical but if money is only the thing that drives you to live your life, you are living your life in a wrong perspective.

That’s for you and how you’re seeing it, but I don’t see money as a boss or anything like that, it’s just a means of exchange or something that we are all using as a way to pay for services and goods that we need daily.Yes, it’s true that there are people who are out to do anything because of money and those are the ones that we would look at and say that they have love for money and on that case we can use this line that money is their boss. As for me that’s not the case, I only work for because I know that I need to be able to get the things I need daily.

No doubt that money is good and it helps to enjoy life on earth but money is not the boss because it can't get you all the things you want on eat here. I will make a list for you on certain things that money can get for you.
1. Happiness : You can have all the money on earth but still unhappy. You are unhappy because there are certain more things you can't get with the plenty of money you have worked for.
2. Life: Your money can't buy you life when your time is up to die. You may be prolonging it by having access to good medical treatment that a poor person may not get to but that is because is not time for you to die. Your cells and organs are still responding to treatment but when they are no longer responding, your money can't induce them anymore.

If a person could grow their own food, generate their own electricity, have their own transportation and living accommodations and have a means of acquiring things they need through barter or exchange.
They wouldn't need to rely on money, employers or governments for survival. Perhaps that is one prospective model for a future society we can focus upon making a reality.

Let's be honest how many people in the world can do that, and how much can you get with that? Sure let's say you grown your own crops, but what if you want to eat a food that you didn't grow? Sure you could raise cattles and chickens and eat that if you want, but if you fail to get enough and they get sick and you need to take them to vet or something else that was unexpected? Basically that "barter" is fiat we are talking about, it is money, there is no more barter in the world anymore, you can't just take your cow to vet and get him healed and give 30 eggs in return, that is not available anymore.They wouldn't need to rely on money, employers or governments for survival. Hence, everyone needs money. Is it our boss and employer? Well I try to live like money doesn't really decide what I will do, sure it impacts a part of it, but not 100% of it, some decisions are totally based without money in my mind, it allows you to have a much better life.

Well yeah and barter system was replaced by money because it made things easy, you needed to find whom you can sell your items in exchange of the right items you need. I like it but its a passive approach and a step backwards. And the best part of our economy is that we are not forced to work under a particular employer or boss and you can always do your own business if you feel like you don't want to work under others.While reading the OP I felt like he is obsessed with money and I don't know why people call their employer as boss because see they require your service and you work for them, as simple as that and both are dependent on each other and none is doing favors to the other.
