I can still recall the good old days when one hundred naria can get you a plate of food, but look at our naira now, five and ten naira are totally useless, while five hundred naria can't get you a good plate of food.

As is stance now all our income is being invested into food, as if we only come to this life to eat food, because of the high cost of living.
I still don't know how dy want the common man to survive, and I also wonder how people without jobs are fairing, because even those with jobs are struggling massively.

Everyday price of things are increasing, fuel, kerosene and gas prices is too high, but we just can't do without them.

Today we are celebrating independence as if there is anything to celebrate for, the only thing worth celebrating is the gift of life.
Right now is just to hope and pray .

Anyway, na naija blood I be, E no get how e wan be wey e never be before, naija for life.

I was watching an interview yesterday and a guy was asking around to give out Oraimo mp3 similarly like that JBL. He asked around if there is anyone that can show him ₦5 from their wallet and he is ready to gift them the mp3, this dude walk around the street for an hour for anyone that can provide ₦5 cash and nobody could provide it, that's to tell you that ₦5 is no longer needed in the society because it can't but anything again. There is nothing that sell for ₦5 again, maybe there is for ₦10 but very soon, that could disappear from our eyers.

This is to tell you how bad the economy has become, our inflation is not longer smiling to the point that I asked the question if the inflation announced is really the main value, things are getting for common person, the salary is not eco friendly. I wonder how you plan to spend ₦30,000($30) for one week. It's high time the government call for emergency meeting from the legislative, executive and judiciary and make things work because the suffering is not selective, it's for all and every citizens.

Happy independence any way, even if things are not working.

Funny enough my guy, as things be like this for the country, e get some people way dey benefit from this situation way we dey go through.

To strengthen the Naira, plenty things dey we our country suppose dey do.
Federal government say in a bid to strengthen the Naira and the economy, say them go float the Naira and also remove fuel subsidy.
Omo this two decision way our government take, don turn our currency from 1 dollar 758,  to 1000, the subsidy other hand come make inflation dey high, transportation and goods and services don high watin no good.
All this na as a result of not well thought out decision way our government dey take. If we wan strengthen the Naira, we need to increase productivity, in all aspect of the economy.

The naira is in a state of coma, and Nigeria has to wake up before is too late, there are so many factors that contribute to the weakness of Nigeria's currency:

These factors are as follows:
High demand for foreign currency
High inflation due to lack of production
Lack of adequate monetary policy

Nigerians depend much on foreign currency because of one business or another but the truth is, so many imported goods can be produced locally by Nigerians but they choose to import them for a reason best known to them.
The government has to make a strict policy concerning foreign currency-holding, I think it will tackle this menace to an extent.

Nigeria's financial policies are poor, and the central bank of Nigeria is not taking the right steps to achieve a mile in this issue, Nigeria need production strictly supervised by the government assigned agency, financially sponsored by Central bank.

Petroleum product virtually controls the price of everything in Nigeria because of it's impact in transportation system and production, we all know that 20hours light is not guaranteed here so it will be very difficult for any product firm to survive without purchasing petroleum products, so this should be given urgent attention in other to solve this problem also establishment of mini refineries should be encouraged by the government I think this will go a long way in solving our problem.

As today nah Independence day, we still get plenty things to celebrate for we country, like I been talk before, 9ja nah nice and free country for everyone but politicians dem don spoil the fun for we country but as long as say life dey nah to just the pray just as our presido tell us and make we still dey hope for change, like my grandpa been talk say hungry no go fit make man chop Stone and nah true, so make we no because of the hardship for the country go do the undo.
Happy independent everybody.

Those days we been still de complain about bad government and all but now we con de even wish say things de as e be that time, everything was affordable then but now nothing 1k sef fit do for person i just hope after a few years we no de wish things was like it is now.

As is stance now all our income is being invested into food, as if we only come to this life to eat food, because of the high cost of living.

Na who don chop na im de alive oo so food na the most important thing for this life so and na who de alive de hustle for more money so e no get as e be na food be the first thing everybody de hustle this money for even as the price of things de go high all these things are necessities we can’t do without.

But as everybody de celebrate this independence even as e no sweet most of us the way the country be we gaz just celebrate am as well. Na still our country no matter how things turn out we no fit just wake up one day say we de change country the best we can do is to pray and keep fighting for the betterment of the country.
