I can now change the clock speed with increments of 10MHz up to 1330MHz Grin (or higher if I put that in the code but that makes no sense right now)
It is now running at 1300MHz, seems quite stable (3.4% HW errors), letting it run over night to view results.

Want to over-clock the device: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overclocking-a2mini-669390

someone any ideas on how to do that?

When this is possible it won't be easy, you have to modify cgminer for it.
Maybe you can get some idea from the A2 programming guide.

http://www.usbminers.nl/Innosilicon_A2_PG_v120140424.pdf

Thnx!

Seems that I will need to change the payload data fed to the chips and change the binary data of the 'io_pll_fbdiv[8:0]'  Undecided.
Should be possible, the firmware I have (Innosilicon A2 Terminator version) contains a dropdown menu with various option, maybe I can create a new entry.
Somebody any ideas?

Hi all,

I am currently running an A2Mini at 1280MHz, at a stable temperature of 36 Celsius, hashing at about 29MHash.
The firmware that is running the A2 is the innosilicon version.
I would very much like to over-clock the device and squeeze some more hashes from that thing but I don't know how.

Maybe somebody has a suggestion and can give me a hint because it should be possible.

Thnx
