I guess the racism will not go away and that nature of a person will surely not banished in existence, I think it is common that we take on that views ourselves and it will surely start when we are young the views our parents will show us we think is always correct so it will surely start with the parents but sometimes even though parents is well mannered it will surely go down to the child own perspective that he or she sees outside with his friends and what he sees in the community,

In my opinion it will not going to be taken out but we can lessen it one at the time by guiding the little ones with good manners that will surely start in our homes and schools, and I also think that Bitcoin will just have small portion on overcoming it, Racism is like a stain that is surely hard to take out.

To get rid of racism, many factors play a role in my opinion. Most important is to avoid votes for racist or nationalist people / parties. Second to ensure equality by law. In the US, there are still many people preventing this. Well known was for example stop and frisk.
Bitcoin can't help there but it can help to show what's important in a society. Bitcoin has a very international community like here on Bitcointalk (well if we avoid some racists in P&S Tongue) and it doesn't matter where you are from to use it (except if you don't have infrastructure). It can bring people together instead of dividing them. People will start to know that a racist, divided society has less power than a non-racist, united society (like Bitcoin).

The role of Bitcoin isn't a big one here but it can be one part of many factors.

For some reason, racism and bullying never seem to end. Both of these are a frightening specter for anyone. And this happens not only in kids but also in adults.
The incident in the US is one such example that is currently in the spotlight all over the world. That racism can be very sensitive and even result in death. Strong protests by many residents there prove that in fact there are still many people who are aware of the importance of respecting all people, without underestimating one ethnic or others.

In this case, I still don't understand how Bitcoin is related to dealing with racism. The article states that:

Quote
Entrepreneurship is everything, especially in the US. With the chips stacked against black business owners, how can anyone expect blacks to be able to break through that concrete ceiling? Bitcoin does provide an answer. The first part is obvious, and its Bitcoin’s answer to everything: decentralization.

Yeah, decentralization. This might be a way in which with decentralization there will no longer be racism by the authorities against those who have no power. However, can the context of decentralization be applied in all respects? However, if it is about a way to overcome, I personally will support this.

Well, Bitcoin may loosely help fight institutionalized racism by taking away financial power from governments. Racism in one's local community is a completely different issue, and cryptocurrency isn't remotely related.

I don't believe that Bitcoin and racism have anything to do with each other. They are completely separate topics, you are comparing apples and oranges.

The only way to get out of oppression is to educate your children not to elect presidents like Donald Trump. Bitcoin has no role to play here! Bitcoin doesn't see you as a black or white or Asian or as an Tibetan. It's indeed the most less racist payment system available today but it doesn't have the power to clean out hatred from people's mind. It's not a magic wand either!

Bitcoin can certainly decreases your dependability from institutional authorities but can't educate you to be peaceful. It's your upbringing and education that makes you a better person.

When I say educated, I do not mean graduate or long list of degrees beside your name. It's your maturity and humanity coupled together.

Hope this makes sense!

Yes you're correct, educating the youth is first and foremost the primary objective here.  No one is born racist, it is taught/ it learned, and often imprinted on young minds.  Bitcoin can help level the playing field however.  As Andreas Antonopoulos often cites, bitcoin can help the under-banked, those not allowed to join the masses with traditional banking tools.  This helps give power back to those whom have been disenfranchised.

It has been 155 years since the emancipation proclamation yet we still see racism happening. In the past weeks, we have seen protests all across the globe demanding justice for George Floyd.

The Black population is at a disadvantage, and we need to be asking ourselves, how do we level the playing field. How do we tear down the systematic oppression that plagues America? Bitcoin can play a role.
To be frank it looks like these things are blown out of proportion, the way in which some are taking these issues as if there are no other ethnical personal in police nor politics and it is controlled by one ethnic group. The Floyd situation was really unfortunate and the cops that is responsible will be brought to justice.

I would like to hear from you about the systematic oppression you have encountered to come up with that conclusion and how bitcoin could solve that Undecided.
