Hi guys, I need your feedback. We're developing a product. Sending, receiving Bitcoin internationally, getting paid in Bitcoin is always FREE, instant, and secure. You know, in a regular bitcoin wallet or service there are mining or transaction fees while sending Bitcoin. We won't charge any fee. So it's different from other services and wallets. Also, it's different from Lightning Network because it's very simple to use it. The receiver's email and the app are enough to send Bitcoin.
  • What do you think about that?
  • Would you use it? If you don't, can you explain why?
  • What features would encourage you to use this service?

Noble thought, no doubt about it! However, I have few questions that needs to be answered for my better understanding.

1. How would you confirm bitcoin transactions?
2. How a bitcoin transaction will be instant?
3. How would you include a transaction in a mined block?

Free and instant services are always desirable but that has be real. Lightening network is making this possible but the transactions are not free or instant, it is close to that! How would you scale up even higher than LN?

Lightning network so far has the lowest tx fee so they are saying they will be offering free and instant? Better than LN? Any response from the above queries? I will only use it if the reputation has already been established like years of operations.

How will you guarantee that you could provide an instant transaction without putting our funds at risk? To be honest, it's hard to entrust our funds to newly existing platforms of p2p transactions. You should gain a good reputation first. I'm sure that if you'll provide a good and trusted service, it would reflect in the numbers of users that you'll have.

If every transaction would be free and would go smoothly, then it's interesting and is good to use but I wonder why it has to be free? It's getting quite suspicious on that part. Why would you provide such service if you'll not earn from it? I'm still thinking about your purpose.

1. To be honest this is very interesting if it is absolutely free, but I am very curious whether it is truly free without terms and conditions.
2.  if it's true, maybe I will use it as long as the transaction is safe and can be trusted
3. which can attract users to use it, given features to access and manage personal wallets independently, quickly safe and trusted.

If your transactions are done on the chain and not in some online wallets in which you simply move balances then your transactions can't be FREE. Also, they can't be INSTANT since the customer has to wait for at least one confirmation to move the funds.
Are you planning to pay for those from your own pocket? I'm not sure how you plan on doing this.

So,

1) Unless you tell us more about how you plan to achieve this, I'm a bit suspicious
2) Why would I use a service to send bitcoins when I can simply send them myself?
3) None really, I'm against using and trusting a 3rd party when it comes to irreversible transactions.

How can bitcoin transactions be free when all has to be confirmed by miners? Unless there is now a technology for bitcoin that can do away the confirmation job of the miners then maybe this is possible and feasible. So maybe OP should expound on this some more here. I am always open for any innovation especially one that is using the word "free" and "fast" but if this is just a hype or if there are strings attached then this may not be for me. Let's give the space needed by OP for more explanation.

In fact, I still don't understand what the OP explained and how can a bitcoin transaction be free of cost unless it is borne by itself. Is this just speculation that will be developed? even bitcoin experts still have no solution to free transaction costs.
Yes, I need a more detailed explanation of the op, how does the systematic transaction that he develops run?

no it is not different from other "services" because it already exists and it is called PayPal. since when using a centralized service in control of your funds, you are not longer sending "bitcoin" you are instead sending IOUs.

It's clear that they will make a centralized off-chain thing. It's the only way to make it free and instant.
About secure, well.. we all know how secure are the online services handling Bitcoin. They're all "state of the art" until proven otherwise.  Cheesy

What do you think about that?

It's centralized, so you'll have to give really good reasons to people to transfer money into your system.

Would you use it? If you don't, can you explain why?

Most probably not. Why? Lack of trust, and I don't really need to send transactions to other persons. You'll need a huge user base in order to work.

What features would encourage you to use this service?

You need to be backed by a known name, an institution that'll reimburse the users in case of something wrong.
And you need to add a huge list of merchants and service providers (including exchanges) into your user base.
Then it may work, despite the centralization...

I am wondering how will you make transactions be free and instant since transactions need block confirmations before reaching any wallet. You should have elaborated this.
