Having had a bit of experience in this one area.. I'm of the mind that it wasnt clinton, obama, the man in the mirror, or fox new's fault .. If someone had to be blamed it would have to be the ambassador himself ( however hes dead) He gets a security brief EACH AND EVERY DAY and its his responsibility decide if he needed to call in support ( read Military Evac) he got the security brief ( or didn't depending on who you wish to believe) and failed to act If he had requested help he would have gotten it 1 way or the other .. the problem was it was never requested. Sadly because of his decision to do nothing ended up costing lives. holding Sr Executive leadership responsible for this is like holding an army general responsible because Sgt flow Joe didn't get a flu shot and got a cold.
To run Hilary, they'll have to divert this and or whitewash it. I understand that quite well. They'll have to do something about Hillary's story about the "Anti Muslim Film", but making up reality and pushing it is what these guys do.

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to
"stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to
"stand down." Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged. The rescue team from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.
At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex.
The request was denied.1 problem here.. CIA safe house... NOT run by the state dept but Run by the CIA ... run by the CIA means its not the determination of an ambassador to make that kind of call
2 different issues here.. the CIA requesting military support isnt the same thing as an ambassador requesting a military evac of personal in a embassy.
the question i would ask here though is how exactly did they figure out it was a CIA safehouse? or did they just open fire where they thought US citizens lived?
I would also point out the guys in the CIA safe house weren't killed.. ( knew how to get out of dodge maybe?)
now let me be clear here i'm not supporting clinton or palin... im just points out a difference here.. ( honestly i think they are both bad choices.. )
and my point is more of we need a set of smarter people running for office then what we have seen lately ... clinton vs palin again will boil down to whom we can 1 stomach more and 2 who doesnt look like the biggest jackass.
re: Powell. not going to play the race card here ( but i'm not very happy about your turn of phrase ) ANY black person that was going to be the 1st president is going to be called every name in the book ( from sale out Down) one of the things myself and most black men learn early is they are going to call you that anyway regardless of what you do or what your education is or how much money you make. If you get mad EVERYTIME your going to spend your whole life fighting an uphill battle.
it still doesnt change that Powell would have made an amazing president.
