Dear Panda,

I saw somewhere that there is also a dutch/belgium group of panda-fans, so maybe they can add the dutch language, so it will be easier for them to introduce pandacoin in Holland or Belgium, exspecialy for childeren, that they get there first panda-bank wallet on there first mobile.

Just an idea and good luck

https://dev.pandacoin.tech/  Does have a Dutch translation, be sure to slide down to find it in the list.  PandaBank also has Dutch as a language option, however Our android wallet only is available for English for now.   Our Translation work is progressing but we do need help from the community to be sure our translations are high quality, please let us know if you can help!

Oké, It wasn't clear that there where more language's available. But will the site also be made for mobile phone's to scroll easier throught the headers? I don't know how you call that, but that people can look at it, on there mobile device ?

So the wallet is only in English available, before i go further into this, i first must buy $panda before they get to expensive for me. So don't advertise to much this month, when i receive my salary end of the month I will buy some panda's and put some energy in it. Well done till now!! Smiley

We are continuing our work on re-branding Pandacoin (PND) to create a stronger position in the cryptocurrency world market. We felt that our current website isn’t presenting Pandacoin as it should and needs to be redesigned towards the current trends on the internet. Check out our new developing website here: https://dev.pandacoin.tech/

Our new developing website supports a number of language translations.  Let us know which languages need to be added, or if you see some translation and or other improvements we should make.

The community ultimately voted for the winning logo but we were hoping it would win as well. Rhinox, who designed it, did a fantastic job and is being retained as a potential resource in the future. Agree on the gold.. There would have been a lot of drawbacks to having a large presence of yellow/gold with how it shows up in some media. But it was a color of the old design so we hoped it would be retained in some manner
I love the simplistic nature of it yet it is attention grabbing, both compared to other currency logos and in a general sense

Anyone knows what is exactly happening with BX Thailand? I used to trade Panda there a lot, and rather recently they didn't require this local ID verification. Is this change permanent? Is anyone not from Thailand able to normally trade there?

Sounds like the same thing that's happening everywhere, govts are demanding KYC/AML capabilities on exchanges. Sorry to hear it...

Hmmmm.

It is a shame indeed!
We must fight for our freedom.

Decentralised exchanges are offering some light at the end of the tunnel right now though.

The people who scare me are China!
Only because they have managed to lock off their entire internet!

I just keep thinking that if China can do it, then theoretically anyone can do it. Which inevitably means that long term we are all fucked.(xcuse my French)

You should also do a panda's poop embossed in one of the design, as this is a real shit coin, the logo will suit it.

How does pos work in depth? Like who get to be the validator on the block? Pool? What if the node is offline for the “next user” who gets to b the validator?
Good questions to ask, it is important to learn as we go.  Pandacoin does want to help in this process so we have not only a growing community in numbers but also in understanding.   That said it is not easy to clarify everything with simple answers, however our source code does explain all the details publicly to anyone who can read it.  We are working on making easier to understand guides and articles etc to help, perhaps this is a topic we should cover in more detail?   For now have you seen http://dev.digitalpandacoin.org/index.php/proof-of-work-and-proof-of-stake-mining/  a basic expanation of how Proof of Stake mining compares to Proof of work mining.   For a bit more detail please see http://dev.digitalpandacoin.org/index.php/2015/05/31/pandabank-2-5-annual-interest-staking-faq/

From other sources that try to help explain Proof of Stake  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASCGQFZgcT8
 https://blockgeeks.com/guides/proof-of-work-vs-proof-of-stake/

http://earlz.net/view/2017/03/24/1901/proof-of-stake-mining-how-it-actually-works

Hope this helps some.
