Isn't it smart to buy when the price dips like this? Then when the recover happens you are sitting like gold with a profit that you pulled in when you are ready to sell.

Nowadays the price is declining and we are not seeing any good event or any news that would pump bitcoin to the price that was few weeks ago, instead of a panic buying Im seeing a panic selling because the price is dropping.
People have a different point of view on how will they called the price decrease.
For me, price drop for today is just a normal one. No such thing as price decline based on my own thoughts. And no about the last part of your post. If there's a panic selling, current price today should be below $600.
If the price goes below $600 tomorrow, will a panic selling start off? Right now the price is at $612, and today is not over yet (at least, in Europe)

Lol, I actually expected the same when the price was around $200, and I was going to spend at least half of a few thousand dollars which I had at Bitfinex back then if prices were to reach the range of $170-$150. And what d'you think? It went down to $198 and then vigorously rebounded to never touch that level again...
Though I still hope Bitcoin has a long way to go down yet

I dont know why to buy bitcoin coins now right now when we are waiting for halving and then we should buy more bitcoins because it will be real cheap price per peace so dont buy now better wait more.
Maybe it will drop or maybe it will not. But today i notice its price from $650-$620 and slowly rising. But still high compare to $400 since january. But what if it keeps rising and never drop? Can you afford that price? Having a good timing in buying in lower prices is such a great i dea since you would probably make a profit out of it when the price bounces up again. These things as of now are not panic buying and selling its just a little movement of the price not compare to those dumping prices in previous years,

i think you are just wasting your time. because i do not think that the price of bitcoin will fill down to such a low level. i think you should take a over view on your decision, and you should study the market, just get the opinions of the people that what is the nature of market and what can expected to happen and after that decide that what you need to do. It wont really happen to drop its price like you said. this is not panic buying at all, this is the normal flow of things these days, panic buying or panic selling usually happens when the bottom or the top has passed and it is already late so people panic for missing out and then start acting irrationally. for example at this situation when price goes back up to $645 they start to panic and buy which will raise the price even more.

It's emotions that a big role when trading. Some people can't stand the heat and they will sell because they only think short term.
Me too have experienced it and I am not a pro but I know when to sell or when not to sell right now.
