Are the regular 100 edition going to have hand done UV effects like in the Artist Proof?

YES... Just not as much as the initial 10........ really, the 10 proofs are letting me refine the effects.... after a few tests  ...tho.... I'm getting it down to 15-20 minutes each.....

Are they sized  8 1/2" x 11"?

Looks great! There's only one thing I would suggest you do. Make a wallet holder, that is plastic and "see-through" so you can carry it in your pocket and not have to worry about the paper ripping.

Its the size of a sheet of paper, or 1/3 when folded.. Its meant to be stashed in a safe location....

But one might want to make a Bitcoin sale for cash, and they can bring the wallet with them and give it to the buyer.

The wallet can be folded so the Public address is on the outside (unfunded) or folded so the keys are within the top 2 graphics (funded).... When the keys are folded on the outside , the public address QR code is visible from within  a standard windowed envelope when its placed inside.... upside down... so the envelope would open from the bottom.....  All papersafe wallets come folded like this... public QR viewable in an envelope.. the only exception is the 10 Proofs are UNFOLDED....

Wow - Some real skill & talent to come up with this.
I'm pretty happy with my current method of cold storage but this is really impressive.
I've not seen anything this cool in the bitcoin world especially the way the UV lighting works.
This is going to do well, well done OP.
So many impressive entrepreneurs in the world of bitcoin, keep up the good work man.

I have no idea how (technically) reliable is this "note".
It seems that you have really done a great job!

But for me the very fact that such a thing now exists is interesting.
Because there has been too much focus on bitcoin's track, recently, and not always benign... And the fact that each bitcoin has a unique and specific history is (according to me) a weakness: they are not 100% fongible.

Suppose the blockchain is over-investigated, arguing AML, or anti-terror etc
AND suppose the banknotes circulation (in fiat money) restricted (there have been several publication about it), then cash-bitcoin can be an interesting option for keeping privacy...

La Voie du Bitcoin

I have to agree... long term reliability Is a factor I have contemplated  over and over.... how will the security stickers hold up over 20 years..... what will humidity or heat do to the paper....will some unknown process allow the stickers to be removed and reapplied without tripping the tamper security.... that is the unknowns to my projects.... and I have thought about each and every one of them...

At this point... I am finding collectors are more them willing to overlook these possible short falls as a means to store bitcoins long term and merely focus on the design factor and as a collectable. ... for their collection... These wallets will probably never have Bitcoins stored on them.... I am fine with that..... As a collector myself...I just like paper wallets...and decided to design one my self...... This project has been sitting in a safe for the last 5 months... I just want to release the concept of them to the bitcoin community...... and let them decide how they use them.... ..As a demand as a collectable paper wallet. ...I have since reduced the overall release of the first design  "The 1 bitcoin Satoshi (Genesis Block) Note" from 500 prints to 100 prints plus 10 Artist proofs..... The 10 artist proofs will be available at auction  one at a time over the next few weeks... they will be auctioned off in this forum...  The reduction in prints will allow me to embellish the certificates with finer detail with the UV graphics...they are all done by hand ... in totally darkened room.. under only a black light.....

Thank you for your interest.... feel free to share your thoughts .... happy to discuss anything about my project..

It's cool, how to make that kind of thing. And do you have a plan to sell it to public?

Lie down. Have a cookie
The look is vastly deceiving.  It would be bad enough if the deception ended there, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
" but that doesn't seem to be the case".... please make your case......
To point out that one time you put your foot into your mouth.
I don't see the point.  If ppl started treating these like cash and accepting them as long as the key wasn't scratched out, the *original distributor would be able to sell the coins at any time.

* The private key was known when the address was created.  This places trust into a single entity.

A lot of Bitcoin users are already adopting bad practices, do we seriously need to keep creating more.
And I would love to see these certificates passed like cash ..off blockchain...

Any Ways........Thanks for the Bump and a reason to post this.....

I would say if you trust the creator enough, put your bitcoins on the certificates. If not don't.

This is a cool project that we have not seen before, and I would be willing to buy one for collective purposes.

It is always your decision at the end of the day. If you don't trust it, suggest ways of improving the service or build some constructive criticism.

Anyways good luck with the project and keep us updated.

I have been refining the final design of my paper wallet....instead of mass producing them.. I have decided to limit this design to only 100+10 prints and concentrate more on the graphics which are all done buy hand.... Over the next few weeks, I will be putting up for auction,  the first 10 prints as Artist Proofs , Which will be hand signs and numbered 1of10 through 10of10. and will be clearly marked as such...  each of the 10 proofs may be slightly different in the UV graphics. After the 10 proofs are sold , The Series A Satoshi Notes numbering will start at 000 and go to 099...

This test print picture was taken with only black light on...

Look for my first auction over the next few day......

Thanks..... BG4

CORRECTION.....  The UV effects are all done my hand....The printed graphics are done by "LASER"....

Looks awesome!   Grin
