Its very usual that old generation cannot adapt to changes and improvements on our society. they are afraid of uncertainty. Bitcoin and Crypto is new to them. They tend to stick to what they already know and established like golds and paper money. Most BTC enthusiast are young generations.

The reason for this is because parentd just wanted to protect their children. There lots of dangerous things online, and if you have parents who are not that into internet, seems to me that they lack knowlefge about esrning online and all they think is its all illegal. You got a lot of explaining to your parents to convince them otherwise.

My parent , especially my mom , she always tell me to stop doing bitcoin otherwise i will go to jail or doing bad things to social ! I don't get it ! Old generation seem very lack of experience in Bitcoin ! Why they keep telling us to stop when they even don't know how to check a simple email on ebay ! How to explain them guys ?
number 1 you have to workhard to get money from bitcoin and see to your mom that you get money from bitcoin a lot, number 2 explain to her because bitcoin is good thing good investment no scam and no MLM. its my way intruduce bitcoin to my mommy and its success make my mom believe in bitcoin and me

You need concrete proofs and evidences of your earnings to justify that what you are doing is not illegal. How? Explain them first what Bitcoin is, how it works, and the technology behind it. Explain it to them briefly so that their minds will be open and maybe trey will consider you to invest your time and money to it. They want you to stop because they don't know what bitcoin is, and of course they want to protect you from any harm. I myself explained it to my parents and they are fine with it.

Your parents are trying to guide you against perpetuating in internet scam which is widely common among the youths, you need to educate and convince them about what you are actually doing on the internet is legal I am very sure if you are a trusted guy they wouldn't have raise an eyebrow.
From the OP I think the parents totally don't like the idea of making money online and so whether it is through legitimate ways or illegitimate means they'd frown.

Lucky my parents don't know about bitcoin so they cannot disagree with what I am doing right now hehehe but i think if the parents disagree with what we are doing which is earning bitcoins, lets explain to them what are the advantages of bitcoin and what is the future for the bitcoin. We are in the modern era right now and aside from gadgets electronics etc, money will be upgraded too 
Not all parents are so comprehensive there are many that will take their fears and project them into their sons since the media does not stop portraying bitcoin as a currency used by criminals so it may be difficult to people like that to not trust what they see in television.

that's happen to me too, since i start trading forrex she always ask me what i'm doing, when i tell him he said no stop that, that's not the right way to get money, and now with bitcoin, but explain bitcoin not really hard like explain forex. so my parent understand fast and support me September 17, 2017, 06:30:58 PM
That is how your normally parents would react to new things especially things that are found on the internet. Parents would normally think that MMOs (as what you say it) are things with a catch in which you need to do first in order to earn or they will see it as something as too good to be true where they will see it as a likely scam. The sad thing about this situation is there is really no solid way in convincing them that there is really a way to earn money online not unless you show them proof that you are really earning from an MMO.

Me and my brother are both engaged in bitcoin. And whenever we will try to open the subject to the family since we wanted to educate our siblings about cryptocurrencies our mother would also say the same thing. She tells us to stop whatever we are doing because we mght go in jail for that. Her reasons for stopping us are pretty obvious, she just wanted to protect us because she cared for us, she doesnt want anything bad to happen to her children. And this is the reason why we kept on convincing her that bitcoin is not bad. But i dont think we can convince her anymore, people of yesterday are simply contented of what they have and this makes them not want to venture on new things like bitcoin.

I think your parents are just protecting you. In their mind bitcoin is an bad thing so explain to them what is bitcoin. What are the importance of bitcoin and what are the advantages and disadvantages. In that way they might change their mind a little bit.

Maybe one thing you can do is share some of your earnings to your mom to prove that you really can generate income from this.
Or let her read related news regarding cryptocurrency and who are currently using and supporting this.
Maybe if she knows that even banks and known companies are now jumping into this, she will start to calm down and maybe have peace of mind when you're online & doing crypto transactions.

I strongly agree in your statement, Well our parents need to sure if we are doing okay in many things because they are concern with their children. This is nature to our parents to avoid us to doing this that might bring us to trouble and guide us to do better.
In my experience, I am lucky to have a parents that is very supportive in what I am doing they are always in my back to support me all the way. And they are also support me here and I am sharing my money, earned here to them because this is the way I know I can help them in their needs.

She's just being what moms always do - be protective of their children. Surely, she and your other family members just wanted what is best for you which is for you to be safe. The old generation have a harder time in grasping new things such as cryptocurrency and Bitcoin, as it is "hard to teach an old dog new tricks". Their lack of trust and knowledge on Bitcoin makes them skeptical of it, and they probably think that it is illegal or soon will be. Perhaps a bit of convincing would create a change of heart, it would be best to show them the benefits and potential of Bitcoin and crypto.

naturally they forbid, maybe they do not yet know everything about bitcoin, if they know clearly, surely they will allow, we as children should continue to give softness in explaining to our parents. go on and on and explain well. Maybe with us changing for the better because of bitcoin, they will definitely give permission to do so.

I think you generalized your situation too much. It is better tou have put "My parents" on the tittle, because I don't have any idea of any matured people stopping they're children to earned money online. It might that you were so dependent to them even when investing and asked money for it. You must have to take the financial needs of your doings and I don't think they will ever disturbed you on your bitcoin journey.

You should try to discuss them the advantages of bitcoin - you see old people always get the thought that everything that is on the internet is not real - like internet are full of scammers and bad guys (well, this is somehow true -- but ) Educate your parents about the latest trends in technology and the new methods on buying and selling thru online world. This reminds me of MMORPG, which is funny because most kids these days spend too much time playing these games and should instead be focus on MMOB instead. 
We can't blame those kids because that is what their natural or normal behavior and since they are kids they want to play and enjoy that part of their life because you are a kid for once and you can't turn back to being kid anymore so i think that we should not disturb those kids because once they realized the right things to do then they will not play games anymore.
