Introduction

In 2015 the first idea of a DAG (Direct Acyclic Graph) based coin was introduced to merge the concepts of transaction and blocks. The approach at that time forced every user to be an indirect miner of any particular coin, by having a transaction work to confirm previous transactions made in the "chain". This model allowed for zero fee structured coins. However this posed a problem as double-spends were to be thought as a probabilistic attribute instead of a boolean attribute. The new design  allowed for users to create a DAG as “thin” as possible, as there would be an incentive to reference as many previous transactions as possible without competition.

Fully scalable
The DAGchain network allows for global device to device communications through the DAGcoin layer as the backbone. DAGcoin works in a zero-fee base, making it a frictionless way to connect devices and integrate it into existing systems with almost none extra knowledge.

Accounting Integration
DAGchain, in its inception, serves a way to securely consignate information on a global database freely accesible from any device.
The information can be optionally encrypted in different ways to allow for privacy features.
Also, pagers in the graph serves as checkpoints in which a complete archive can be completely retrieved calling the right nodes into the right formation.

Introducing Partchains
PartChain is a novel concept which comprises both the DAG network and custom auto-generated chains inspired in Fermat's RedTooth technology.
Through PartChains, DAG gets modeled into "blockchains". This allows for near instant off-chain device to device communications and micro-governance modules in which certain parts of the "chain" have the ability to be deleted.

DAGchain uses DAGcoin as a layer of transport of information between users and devices. Through custom partchains, DAGchain aims to become a standard way for communities to launch and manage their own smart tokens.

DAGcoin and partchains, are, simply put, a layer of transport of information made by the people, for the people. Allowing for global communication of people and devices, DAGcoin aims to work as a operating system for blockchains. This approach leads to decreased costs for miners and a easy to use digital coin designed for everyday use from almost any device available.
