I have often seen so many projects get sold out immediately after they are being launched on IEO launchpads like that of Binance, and ever since i have been hearing of IEO, i have never for once succeeded in making any contribution, so does it mean that once an IEO gets sold out, investors can never invest in the token again? or how does it work please?
Once it is sold out then the initial offering would end .
And investors would wait till they got listed on exchange only then could a new investor invest in their project.

I think if the coin offered is already registered in an exchange place, investors usually only think of looking for profits, when prices rise they will prefer to withdraw the profits generated and put in part for long-term investments.

On a contrary, you should be happy that you never for once succeeded in participating in an IEO because the price of all the project usually dump below the initially offering price.

so does it mean that once an IEO gets sold out, investors can never invest in the token again? or how does it work please?
Investors can still invest in the token after it listed for trading which I believe is even better than buying during offering. However, I will advise to you to use the strategy of investing into an IEO atleast a month after is available for trading because most of the early miners usually dump their holding for BTC.

Is different with ICO, IEO is a fundraising activity carried out by a well-known exchange exchange, or a trusted exchanger. so For users, IEOs are easier to follow because they don't need to manage on-chain transactions with different wallets on different Blockchain networks.
The IEO risked the reputation of the project token behind the big names of the exchanges that held it, so that it was considered far more reliable than the ICO.

After the IEO of a certain project has concluded, mostly likely you can buy the tokens or coins at the exchange where it is held. But we know that the possible return on investment (ROI) or gains may not be the same compared to those who bought them during the IEO. With Binance's latest offering the Harmony (ONE) project, it was done in a lottery so it is not easy to enter but afterwards the coins are traded in Binance. Just make sure that you are not American citizen otherwise you are disqualified.

not all the IEO gets sold out. this is exactly the reason why they were also doing bounty campaigns here in the forum even after getting approved to do IEO with an exchange.

they must have thought its going to be easy to promote a token sale when doing an IEO for the exchange can send out mass emails to its users but the fact that we do use throwaway emails on exchanges, they are never gonna be read.

I don't think that's always the case. There are probably other factors that coulda affect why it is not pushing forward after it was concluded. The devs might have enough or the project is not just good after the project has been concluded. In my case, I have never experienced this since I only invested before the ICO is concluded.

Also many new coins drop in price as soon as they are tradeable, which is another reason to stay away.
This is not always true for IEOs, they usually keep their listing price and even tend to rise in terms of the price due to the higher demand. But of course this is true for traditional ICOs which often dont even reach the soft cap ...
correct friend, if the IEO is already on the market a success or sales of soft cap tokens. in my opinion the future will be better. and IEO is a fundraising fund managed by a trusted exchange, besides that it will not think to cheat investors, because they know that transactions can only be done through the stock exchange

Not only beginners, but also more experienced investors should be wary of investing in IEO. Because now there are a lot of IEO, which are in essence last year's ICO, which agreed with the exchanges to launch their IEO. But you need to remember that by investing in IEO you are not protected from the fact that the project may not be on foot and the price of the coin will go down and you will be at a loss. IEO on Binance show good results and after IEO coins can be sold more expensive and make a profit, but on other exchanges the situation is not so good and you can suffer losses, so you need to be careful.
I agree with you . Apart from Binance, most IEO projects at other exchanges are very risky and it will cause you a huge loss if you choose a poor project and lack of liquidity when trade. In my opinion, if you want to join the IEO, you should only choose the top 3 exchanges: Okex, Huobi, Binance because those exchanges will make your liquidity easier and you will earn more than 250% profit if you're lucky to have tickets good IEO participation

IEO and ICO both have the possibility for a drop price, there is no keeping price because after the listing in the exchange that determines the price is the market

There's less chance for small investors to participate in IEO, especially in Binance IEO.
Buy only when the coins are live for trading, but don't buy when the price is above IEO price as that is not advisable.
You should buy it cheap, you can do it with patience as eventually if it's hype and pump in the early period of trading, it will correct and dump.

just invest after it launches in other exchanges.. though binance is a big factor for IEO, you cannot say its always been a profit its depends also on how will react on that profit

you still can buy the tokens after the tokens listed on tradeable binance my friend
but think about the risk and rewards, if the tokens already growing and hit a higher level in price, its better to wait a corrections coming
so, you can buy in a good price level
regards
Thanks for clarifying this man, i did not know it was still possible, and you are right, best to wait for correction before buying them.

If you're quite new to crypto, I would advise to stay away from IEOs and ICOs. Early price movement on a new coin is entirely speculative - if it's a new project, then they have nothing to show yet except a white paper and a roadmap. Also many new coins drop in price as soon as they are tradeable, which is another reason to stay away.

It takes a lot of knowledge to see through hype and understand which projects are worth investing in at that early stage. Stick with established coins first, and then move into initial offerings later if you want to.

There is also the fact that IEO's have become massively over-hyped, especially the Binance ones. It's like the ICO-fever of a couple of years ago all over again. Certainly there are a lot of good IEO's and ICO's, but there is also the stuff that is not really worth it. So the key is always do plenty of research prior to jumping in. Don't just FOMO your way into some unknown new coin.

It completely depends on the quality of the project which will either be like btt and harmony with high demand throughout. or simply tank because the team wasn't vetted properly

Basically you have to buy at the exchange once it is listed. My suggestion is do not buy on the day of listing instead bag some of it when it bleeds in that way you can get a good position whether for short or long. And it would be better to DYOR since some of them will only deliver results after couple of month. Set your goal.
