"One Token to Move Anything Anywhere"

I think that partnerships are really very important. They make a project more attractive for investors. As each new partnership usually positively affects a token price. Some partnerships can move a project on a much higher level of interest. So I would say that about 30% of success depends on partnerships.

They say two heads are better than one and so with partnerships. ICOs with some big partner will have a lower chance of being a scam. Although we have a lot things to consider about choosing what ICO to invest, its a big part on making the right decision. Ill honestly go with some projects who partnered on a strong one.
This is a great way to go about things Cool

I don't know why I think y'all are shilling that project. I don't see how it's connected to the topic about partnerships since nearly all blockchain platform has partnerships. As for the questions, Partnerships are good but It's not the only thing required for the success of any project. Everything needs to be done right, marketing, community building etc.
I don't think we are shilling this project. The OP simply stated her opinion that partnerships are great and suggested looking further into Zeex because of the partnerships they have. We all know we have to do out own research but when people point out something about a certain project they like I'm not sure that they are 'shilling' Grin

Partnership helps the ICO or the project gain trust from investors because the partner of the project will use the tokens/altcoins. The more partners that will use the tokens/altcoins the better for the project and investors.

How important are partnerships when it comes to investing in ICOs?
Do you need to see strong connections in place before investing, or is the strength of the idea alone enough to make you invest?

For example, I know a lot of people are interested in Zeex (www.zeex.me) because they have partnerships ready to go with two major giftcard distributors who offer brands such as Amazon and Starbucks. Yet I've noticed some other projects that don't seem to have a lot to show at ICO also get a lot of interest. Me personally, I like to see things in place before I make decisions and Zeex has a really solid foundation to build their protocol on Cool

I believe that in most cases concerning business partnership is one of the most way to gain the trust of the investors, because by using the influence of a business partner will strengthen the newly born project. Having a good concept and well-planned or well-organised project without a partners can gain small influence and small amount of trust from every interested investors. And I believe that having partners as part of plan is a great strategy.

of course a strong connection is in need. see related people in ICO and look for real data. because this is one of the requirements to avoid the scam ICO. because we will be very much in disadvantage if ICO is a scam. although the small amount but it's the profit from our work

A very nice introduction and way on how you do market your signature  Grin Partnerships is one of the factors i do always check out when i do tend to make investment because tendency of success would really be high if they do have partnerships specially into popular ones but still in the end the project idea is the most important because even though it dont have any partners but the idea is unique and do really have real life contributions or innovations then it would really be still considered.

The two factors, idea and connections are of utmost importance. A project with a good idea should be able to sell. Most times, investors are in search of the use case of a project before investing into it. Also, connection attracts investors into investing in projects. A good connection before and after is enough to give the project credibility. The connections must be real.

Partnership is a good indicator to determine if an ICO is worth it. Most ICO that got partners are in talk with an established companies for parnership and these companies will do anything to see this infant companies to success so that they share in their success.

Partnerships are really important i thought, to expand the community and makes the community even bigger and it can become an alternative way to earn new adopters.
Strong connection with a major platform will be really appreciated. But that depends on where the project is work. I suggest you to not overhyped and you should learn what was happening with litepay.us

Partnership is a great way to promote and have a n additional background for a project. If a big company backs up a project that only means that it will have a good potential in the market.

Me personally, I like to see things in place before I make decisions and Zeex has a really solid foundation to build their protocol on Cool

Me too I would like to see things in place before deciding, as getting partnership may increase the chances of success of an ICO there are still factors that you still need to evaluate, because not all partnership is good to a project.

Honestly I do believe that partnerships play one of the key roles in pumping certain token or coin price. This is not only good for the price but for the project gaining attention by other people. Now it is becoming hard to break the noise and these partnerships can come really handy in the process.

Most of the information everybody wants is a connection, this project has connected to a big and known establishment or let's say the group so this make the percentage of becoming a successful project increases, I do hope some ICO project make partnerships with companies so usage of crypto will spread like a wildfire.

Totally agree with you about Zeex. Their sister company Zeeks is already firmly established.  For me this is one ICO that is worth investing in
