If you knew of this coin's history then you would know what I'm talking about.
When the coin first launched it was wallet mining only. Someone figured out that the dev was using SHA256 so they threw their GPUs at it while everyone was still mining with CPUs. There is one large whale that first got the coin on polo, then pumped the shit out of it and now they are selling their stacks to everyone else.. watch this go back down to sub 1000 satoshis and cry.

You are absolutely right. Not only in cryptocurrencies market, but also at the big market, manipulation is one big part of this trading job. If you accept to invest your money in the market (even at in the big market like NASDAQ or Dow jones) you have already accepted to be manipulated.

If none either enter the market after he manipulate it it will be pointless isn't it? i think the pump is not done by one whales alone, he just pump a little and then wait for the newbie to increase the price much more, he can now dump on their bagholding, this is an easy trick that still work, but i suspect insider on poloniex is making a killing with this pump

This is not just inflation but high inflation. Pascal would need a constant flow of capital coming in or the high inflation rate would end up killing the marketcap and price. Miners will always dump down to $0 and a lot of money has to come in to meet their demand.

I was surprised when I saw this. A few days ago the coin was worth less than 600 satoshi, now that's worth something around 64,000 sathoshi at poloniex. It seems that the currency does indeed bring innovations, but I'm not sure how easy this could be implemented in Bitcoin itself, if necessary.
