I have to say that if the OP doesn't have the patience to read through docs and understand cryptos well enough to carry out the process on his/her own, I doubt very much that any crypto created will be worth very much.  Nonetheless, this does seem like an easy way for someone to make 0.5BTC by just making a video for the OP.

Don't wanna sound too whiny but...
OP still hasn't paid and I have hosting bills to pay off... And its been over a week since I posted and he hasn't signed on...

I should've used escrow :/
I think that the problem is OP doesn't even know about this video as he wasn't online since June 16th.

OP is well aware of the video's release, I sent him PM's stating the relative time of release and I have hosting bills due NOW and OP isn't on to give me the funds. I have no idea if it's being done maliciously or OP simply doesn't have time but regardless, I need my hosting bill to be paid.

There are many tutorial available with pics  for eg: http://dogecoin.ga/how_to_create_scrypt_based_altcoins.html
Video tutorial is good but I doubt anyone can add all the details needed to make a coin in video. (You still have to rely on text)

Thanks for the link! It is a good tutorial. Only problem is that the scammers are increasing Sad .

Kindly,

Awesome tutorial. And the idea behind the video is doing some talking and showing it in real-time instead of just text and screenshots. I prefer the video format (even though both essentially give the same information).

Partially it all has to do with whether people are more visual learners or "textbook" learners so im sure the two options are good for their respective audience equally.

the video idea is good because you can just pause and then replay as much as you want. but either way there is a lot involved in this type of thing so you cant truly portray it all through a video.

It's true, someone can make a crypto by copying the actions I performed in the video, but the question is will the viewer truly understand the concept, or just replicate the same actions?

Wow, can I ask you, how many parts you are planning to make? Its nice video, I hope the OP pays you fast.

Is the OP active? It's interesting to know if he paid.  Tongue

I consider this tutorial to be the last. Parts 1 and 2 went from building the crypto to creating a QT wallet. I unfortunately do not have access to Mac OS X atm and I would imagine it would be in my best interest to wait until I can get my hands on Yosemite (prolly gonna hackintosh) before I create a tutorial on making QT wallets for it.

As for windows it is not too different to compile a QT wallet than in linux, I figured it would be better simply doing both wallet compilers in one video, however it probably will not be my top priority.

As I said before though, I do consider tutorial to be complete, it shows you how to make your crypto source code, premine, and not to mention QT wallets can still be generated, along with the fact that you can run the crypto via the command line interface as opposed to the GUI interface.

He hasn't been active for almost two weeks, still wasn't paid :/ I need to pay off my hosting bills I've accumulated during the project too, I still have an outstanding balance X_X
