Croatia's corporate tax rate for 2015 is 20%.
Certain small companies pay a lower corporate tax rate.

12% jel`to provjereno?
Ugodno sam iznenadjen.

prepaid credit cards 7k monthly limit... small bank withdrawals   but if you feel bad  then just report your crypto tax income...  If you have milions then it's hard to hide but if not  then buy and spend with bitcoins no tax there...   and then also  offshore bank accounts... its so easy to hide money today Roll Eyes

first of all good luck! I would definitely hire a professional. and yes you are right, they just didnt smell the money in cryptos yet in croatia but it is in the news quite often now. i dont think 12% will last long. It ussualy applies to "foreign income" that you pay 12% tax on. So far kunas (HRK) are taxable as soon as they land on your bank acc in croatia, and if it's from cryptos (abroad) you pay the tax. once again good luck, and if you dont have any connections i recommend trying in one of the btc free countrys instead.

I mine with 13x1060 and 1x1080Ti. The price of electricity is rather high, about €0.15/kwh.

Thx, I thought you mine with asics. And yes the electricity is pretty high. :/

Hello.

I live in Sweden but I was born in Croatia a long time ago and also have Croatian citizenship.
Taxes in Sweden are quite high, from 30% to up to 70% if you're mining. And I'm mining.
So I'm looking for alternatives. Let's say that I visit Croatia and open a bank account and transfer about 50.000 euros from Coinbase or Kraken (or any other Bitcoin > fiat exchange) to my bank account in Croatia. How much do I have to pay in taxes?

Google translate (the best I could do Wink)

If it is not a secret with what equipment do you mine and what is the price of electricity in Sweden?

Alright, thanks all. I might actually ask a lawyer or a bank in Croatia.

I also have a friend in Serbia and maybe I'll ask him about the situation there. Croatia is in EU and Serbia isn't. Maybe that will make a difference.

The problem with Swedish taxation is that if you're mining, you have to pay taxes as if you're working. All my crypto earning is coming from mining, and 60.000 euros in less than a year is considered high income. They will tax my ass between 60% and 70%. I don't mind paying taxes but that amount is absurd.
Investing and letting your investment grow is different and taxed about 30% of the profit only.

There are countries in the world which does not require you to pay any tax.
If you earn a lot of money then maybe is better to go there Wink

here are some list:

Very nice list, thanks.
Now if I only knew someone in Germany or Denmark Cheesy

Zdravo.

12%? If that's true then I just might switch to a Croatian bank.

I don't think that you understood me so I'll answer in english. Croatian residents are probably required to pay 12% taxes (I'm saying probably because Croatian tax service doesn't know yet), but since you're not a Croatian citizen, I don't think that you can pay tax in Croatia.

If he stays in Croatia for more than 6 months he is considered a tax resident in Croatia. I would also suggest you read up on double taxation as you might have to pay taxes in Sweden. If you live in Croatia for less than 6 months and pay the 12% there Sweden might still ask you to pay the other 18% to them (double taxation law means you wouldn't have to pay 12 and 30, but you might have to pay 30% if Sweden will ask you).

Your nationality and residence is not relevant, only tax residence is relevant for paying taxes.

If it's a lot of money I suggest you talk to a professional about and since what's the best option.
