Mass adoption in general is increasing, every single industry has now players that are using blockchain and crypto currencies. But I believe that finance would be the one, that would finally bring crypto currencies into masses.
Indeed, this is because of our hard work as a community. As we are continuing our support to this community the widespread information about cryptocurrency is fast. We can say that maybe in the future we can use bitcoin as a worldwide currency when all of the countries already adopted bitcoin and using it in different aspects especially payment methods.

It is true there are more and more merchants starting to accept cryptocurrencies as payment methods which is great for the crypto adoption. I am sure people will soon realise that crypto has much more features than fiat.
This is one of the good news that as time passes by, bitcoin is becoming more famous and as of now many countries are adopting bitcoin, some companies are accepting bitcoin as a payment and also there are lots of businessmen who already entered business involving bitcoin. There are lots of investors that are being courage to invest their money on projects. We all know that the more investors that project has, the higher the probability that it will succeed.

but unfortunately only a few countries or companies accept payment for a product using cryptoqurrency. in my country not yet available about it, but I think it is very pleasant if we trade goods using crypto. and maybe this can also increase the adoption of new crypto users.

On 22 May 2010, Laszlo Hanyecs made the first ever real world transaction with Bitcoin, buying two pizzas in Jacksonville, Florida for 10,000 BTC. Today, 10,000 BTC is worth $72,180,800 - now that’s some pricey pizza. Since then, the cryptocurrency community has grown in leaps and bounds and paying with crypto is more accessible than ever.

We’ll be taking a look at how many merchants accept cryptocurrency payments, including how to pay using Bitcoin, how to pay with Litecoin, how to pay with Ethereum, Dash and Bitcoin Cash. It’s time to get those Bitcoin payments rolling.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j28hkTJMuTA

Top cryptocurrencies accepted by merchants worldwide

5. Dash (DASH)
Coming in at number 5, Dash makes it onto the list of the top cryptocurrencies accepted worldwide. Dash, originally known as Darkcoin and XCoin, is a privacy coin that keeps things totally private for its users. Evan Duffield, the creator of Dash, decided to found his own coin after seeing the shortfalls created by Bitcoin and Litecoin. Dash is a hard fork of Litecoin (LTC), and has faster transaction feeds and more privacy than LTC. You can pay with Dash at 124 verified companies. The actual number is probably a lot higher, but for the sake of this article we’ll just be looking at verified merchants.

4. Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a fork of Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash was founded on 1 August 2017, as a response to rising Bitcoin network fees. Since its inception, Bitcoin had maintained a common set of rules for the coin, however certain community members were unhappy with how the blockchain was developing, and they decided to split, resulting in Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash is currently the 5th largest cryptocurrency by market cap, and is available to trade on most trading platforms, like eToro, and exchanges. You can pay with Bitcoin Cash at 199 verified merchants.

3. Litecoin (LTC)
Litecoin was launched in 2011, as a fork of Bitcoin. Charlie Lee, the creator of Litecoin (LTC), aimed to combat some of the shortcomings facing Bitcoin, including faster transaction speeds and block propagation (one block in 2.5 minutes instead of 10 minutes as on the Bitcoin blockchain), and a larger total supply (84 million LTC to 21 million  BTC). What to know how to pay with Litecoin? It’s easily available, with 205 verified merchants accepting LTC as a form of payment.

2. Ethereum (ETH)
It probably comes as no surprise that Ethereum sits at the second position on this list. Ethereum is the second largest coin by market cap, sitting only behind Bitcoin. Founded in 2015, Ethereum brought smart contracts to the cryptocurrency space. Since then, Ethereum has gone on to become one of the most successful coins on the market. With the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade coming up sometime in 2020, Ethereum will be faster, more secure and more scalable, making it even more ideal for transactions. You can pay with ETH at 272 verified merchants.

1. Bitcoin
Obviously Bitcoin sits at number one on this list. Bitcoin is arguably the most mainstream of all of these coins, and sits with the largest market cap by far. Paying with crypto is more accessible than ever, by and large because of the existence of Bitcoin. Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency, and remains the most popular one. Websites like Wikipedia, Microsoft, Overstock, and Shopify are amongst those companies and retailers that accept Bitcoin payments. Bitcoin is considered legal in the USA, Malta, Nigeria, Japan, and dozens of other countries around the world. As of now, you can pay with Bitcoin directly at 453 verified merchants. However, there are also crypto cards like BitPay, Bitcoin payments are super simple.

Want to get your hands on some BTC? You can buy directly from eToro, or trade the cryptocurrency - and all the others on the list - and make some money by accurately predicting the market movements. That’s right, you can make money even if the cryptocurrency’s value is down. Get those Bitcoin payments rolling.

Accessibility
As mainstream acceptance of cryptocurrency grows, so will the number of merchants accepting crypto payments. Already, paying with crypto is more accessible than ever and that’s unlikely to stop any time soon. As we move forward, more and more countries will likely begin to see the promise of cryptocurrency and how the technology can help us transition into a digital world. This industry is on the up, more and more merchants accept cryptocurrency payments than ever before, and it’s pretty clear that the bitcoin payments and cryptocurrency payments market will continue to grow.

It will be just easy to learn and understand how to use those cryptocurrencies you have mentioned as a payment option the problem is that the merchants accepting payment in terms of cryptocurrency is just limited due to the fact that adapting the usage of cryptocurrencies is still the biggest challenge our world is facing about to further widen the usage of cryptocurrencies effectively in which every individual can do have an access on it. Using cryptocurrency as a payment option will be just easy to be done because you are just flawlessly using a cashless option like using a debit card or bank account link into a mobile application provided by the bank in which your account was created. Paying with cryptocurrency will be accessible than ever if and only if the world will adapt on using cryptocurrency in which number of merchants that accepts cryptocurrency payment will not be limited instead there will be lots so that every country can effectively use it like an ordinary payment option in a cashless transaction.

Well, it is already expected that time will soon to come that merchants will adapt into using and accepting cryptocurrency for payment purposes due to the fact that it is more convenient to be used compared to fiat currency. Now that cryptocurrency have already been popular to the crowd, surely merchants will totally adapt on making payments through cryptocurrency as an option on paying merchandise purchased by people who prefer to use crypto rather than fiat. It is a way to follow the public demand so they can keep up on the rising popularity of cryptos. Specially now that the modern technology keeps on rising, cryptocurrency will now be more accessible to the public, making merchants to adapt into change that is primarily inevitable. More hopes are soon to come this year 2020 which we all wish and expect.

It is obvious to me that 2020 will be the year of efficient crypto payments especially crypto banking, crypto remittance and similar services will boom, in short this year will be the year of the boom of Defi.

I agree to that, also many of other country restricted it but their people want crypto and use crypto to their country. but this 2020 will adapt it immediately? I am not sure that 2 to 4 months is enough to make many crypto banks or remittance or it will take 5 or more, what do you think? or it is more like showing to everyone the beauty of crypto so they can understand it better? I think it is.

Yeah, bitcoin as the first pick as always.
I have never tried any crypto yet rather than any of what you have said in your list.

Although, I am using some of it just for a cheaper transaction but with gambling I would always prefer bitcoin as the method to deposit some funds.
I guess the problem also is the option.
Most merchants just input bitcoin as the accepted crypto currency.

Want to learn about other cryptocurrencies? Or better yet, learn to trade them? eToro is a great place to start as it offers interested parties a platform to learn the ropes. It also offers a CopyTrader feature which allows traders to follow the trades of successful investors and learn from their successes. There is so much more out there than just Bitcoin, but knowing which cryptocurrencies can be tricky. https://www.etoro.com/discover/markets/cryptocurrencies

As of now, you can pay with Bitcoin directly at 453 verified merchants. However, there are also crypto cards like BitPay, Bitcoin payments are super simple.

453 merchants is old data. coinmap tells about 15857 businesses. And even that is almost nothing. The world is big. Very big.
When the list will contain all the chains like Auchan, Kaufland, Lidl, Carrefour, McDonald's, KFC (all around the world), booking.com, ... , when most payment processors will also accept Bitcoin.. then we can say Bitcoin is easy to spend. It will happen in the future, but let's not fool ourselves.

BitPay is not the best example for Bitcoin, lately it is oriented towards BCash and has bigger fees for Bitcoin (!).
However, the crypto cards are, in many people's opinion, not really Bitcoin spending. Hefty fees, KYC, the need to keep bitcoin in custodian wallet, the need to keep fiat on most of those cards make them not much loved.
It is pretty easy to use them indeed, but it involves more steps than "super simple".

So we are on the right track, but we should not be too happy too soon, there's still much to work to get to the point Bitcoin is easy to spend. We aim to get close to fiat/cards easiness after all, don't we?

Great points and well noted. You are absolutely correct, however there is no harm in celebrating the small victories. Merchants accepting crypto is undeniably on the rise, and while it may take some time to reach the fiat/cards easiness, we've taken great strides already.

It should be an old data but how much total merchants that accept crypto as payment has already changed. I rarely to see that people are using crypto like BCH or even litecoin to buy on the merchant. I have ever seen people use dash to buy the product from the merchants but it has already a long time ago.
I believe if there is a lot of differences on the how much merchants that is still accepting crypto as payment.

I believe the number of merchants accepting crypto as payment are on the rise. The benefits are endless, corss borders, and offer a unique payment opportunity. Here is a list of merchants accepting BTC in 2020 https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin/who-accepts/. Read more about how more and more merchants are accepting crypto here: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/02/spending-cryptocurrencies-on-everyday-purchases-is-getting-easier.html

Pretty sure most of these businesses are outdated. At least in my city i already found some that don't offer crypto as a payment anymore. But i don't care, i am using wirex and can buy trough that. But i do love when the shop uses bitpay or something like that. I bougth my laptop that way.

I think when options such as Bitcoin, ethereum, litcoin, bch and dash are presented as options of pagme t by merchants, people fondly go for Bitcoin and ethereum majorly because of its availability and ease of use. This can be witnessed with seoclerk.com. But more informed users or users with needs tailored to privacy will prefer dash and monero anyway

in my country I already received bitcoin payments but as far as I know there is still one province and the bitcoin office ethereum has also branched out to this capital city proving cryptocurrency payments are applied
Haven't experienced paying yet thru ETH unless its a personal transfer. In my merchants I only paid with Bitcoin as long as it supports the wallet application that im  using that is able to do bills payment. There is no known outlets yet that accept crypto in my area, it will be good if they will also plan to start this year.
Specifically in my case, I sometimes use Ethereum for sports betting.Recently, such services are widely implemented method of payment with cryptocurrency.I am sure that as demand increases, cryptocurrencies will be used for payment in many services. But so far, in fact, there are few such services.

Nobody's online mode of payment has been increased in high rate than Fiat currency direct usage. So I wish to tell everyone should accept the crypto payment and merchant should get also show some lateral profit on allowing crypto mode of payment. If such things happen paying with cryptocurrency is more accessible than anything.

Actually there are some solution about it.
Zeux: You can hold both your crypto and banking account both. You can also get interest as a BTC, ETH or USDT with different rate.
Kudi: It is working as a merchant payment gateaway. You can hold crypto or you can get payment with it. (It is product of Ferrum Network.)

Both of these project is limited in a country. Zeux fully operational on England and Kudi is in Africa. They may expand their operation globally in the future. But both are already working properly.

is now already sophisticated. Many adults and small children have already held a gadget for daily needs. For that, there is a variety of innovations created, one of which is paid. As with current crypto payments, it is easier from the old days that makes each of its blockages very long. And now it's easier because the developers are competing to make good breakthrough innovations for a better future.

I bet many people don't know all this, some still ask silly questions where merchants are accepting crypto as means of payment, thanks for this good information, in few more years every single souls in this world will use crypto

Because people can't read or seem to use google to do their own research and rely on others asking silly things. There are so many places that accept crypto you will be amazed. You just have to look. Sometimes you have to add the items to your shopping basket before seeing if they accept crypto or not. I just can't wait to start seeing the physical stores take payment instore with crypto. Then we have made it and we can properly enjoy it. It would help so much when others instore ask what we are doing and we explain crypto to them and win them over.

Changing the game
I totally agree with what you said. basically using crypto as a real payment tool is a very fun and safe thing in my opinion, how about crypto we don't need to repit the hassle of carrying cash which can cause various kinds of impacts such as theft, robbery etc. But with crypto we can feel safe because the key is in our brain in the form of a password, with crypto we can get all access rights in full. In fact, since I use and own crypto, especially in my area, there are also many private crypto providers and sellers (non-exchangers) and it's fun, we can buy everything we need, especially things related to the internet.
BTC, ETH are the first choice for transactions, and of course the whole world has recognized it.
It seems fun to use crypto as a payment tool besides being safe and comfortable to use without worry.
but the sad thing for me is that in the country where I live I have not found a shop or anything that uses crypto as a payment transaction.

if the physical store in my place is also not available where we can buy coca cola or food using crypto, it is not yet available, but for me to buy some cellphone credit, exchange crypto for real money is available. And there are a number of tourist attractions in my place that have received crystal clear payment payments, where we can pay for hotel and food rental using BTC. And of course it was an amazing experience.

I don't know what the "verified merchant" means and how you verify any of the merchants or where did you find that data but I am pretty sure there there are more places that accept bitcoin in just my country than 453 so I am pretty sure this is not really a full on idea but more like a guess. It could very well mean that there are more "verified merchants" this year than ever before and nothing else. However I too agree that bitcoin payments are definitely on the rise including all other altcoins as well but what do we consider a payment? What do we pay? BNB is the most used altcoin for payments if you look at trading fee as a payment for example, probably used even more than bitcoin, so is that a payment? Is it just shopping?

In any case every single year it will be more and more places we can spend crypto to pay for stuff but I still feel like its not enough just yet.
