Ebay only endorses one Escrow service, Escrow.com. You can read eBay's Escrow Policy here. They only recommend an escrow service for vehicle pruchases, but it is allowed for any purchase. There are escrow fees, so you won't be able to under-cut credit card and paypal users (Fee Schedule $25 minimum).
Ecrow.com does not seem to be adverse to an irreversible payment method like bitcoin. Maybe somebody should ask them if they are willing to make bitcoin an official payment method. That should save on bank fees, but may be a regulatory headache. Edit: I decided to use the site feedback/suggestion form.

I wonder why BTCrow, or another escrow service for Bitcoin, can't approach eBay and offer their services to them. It seems that if the main obstacle is the fact that a Bitcoin transaction isn't reversible, a good, established escrow service could solve that pretty quickly. And because of the transaction fees, those on eBay who bid in bitcoins would have an advantage over those with PayPal or credit cards.

You may want to consider selling your goods in auction sites or forums that allow the use of bitcoin as a payment. Because of the irrevesibility of payment, you may want to consider a forum that allows you to build reputation. Since I don't have any Bitcoin myseft yet, I have not tried any of the sites listed here: trade: Material / Physical Products.

I only accept paypal for ebay sales. Ebay buyers dont want anything to do with coins. They want to pay with paypal.

I didnt wanna exchange with anybody here. Was hoping for a site like mt gox that exchanges paypal. I hate having money in my paypal. I always end up blowing it cause Im worried they will lock it.
If you keep receiving money in PayPal funds, but don't trust PayPal: why not ask whomever is paying you if they are willing to use bitcoin?
In order to buy coins from somebody with paypal, you'd have to give them some sort of assurance that you won't claim your account was hacked or what not.
There are so many children in the bitcoin community that this is actually a legitimate problem. Functioning adults generally don't go around committing fraud on a day to day basis. But this is the kind of people that are drawn to bitcoin trying to suckle any tit they can to get a handout.

u can try bitcoin.de it just appeared in the german section. it's in € but still might get u a better rate then virvox..

You would need a trusted friend to do the transaction... it's just too easy to rip people off when buying bitcoins via paypal. Paypal's buyer protection wins everytime.

Just get the funds out of Paypal, then come back and ask about "Cash > Coins".
For getting few bitcoin with paypal, you may try to use virwox.com in which you can convert it as USD -> SLL -> BTC. But you may end up paying 10% more than the mtgox, I cannot justify whether it worth. I also find it strange that they are exchanging virtual currency but the paypal does not block them.

Maybe buy some item that someone wants with Paypal then drop ship to their house?
Problem is no one in their right mind will send BTC first unless you got crazy rep.

No one in their right mind would sell BTC to someone paying with PayPal...

This happens ALL THE TIME on the Bitcoin OTC forum on Freenode. Newbies come in, want to buy/sell using PayPal, make maybe one or two successful transactions and then get scammed. That, or PayPal freezes their account for them.
I wouldn't touch PayPal with a 10 foot pole if BTC were involved.

It's a simple fact the BTC is Paypal competitor right now, that's why they have taken this stance. What is Paypal's stance on pre-paid access? I think a MTGOX code would qualify as this if not BTC outright.

They do not support virtual currencies at all. If you sell BTC for praypal, the customer can charge back without any problem or proof and the customer will always win with a virtual currency case.
