paypal has been down that transfer system

Because there is a big fee in paypal that the consumer dont have also. Paypal is less job in cyberworld unlike bitcoin there is so many opportunities in bitcoin in cyberworld like trading, gambling, investing, forum and faucets. Just be patient in earning bitcoin and you will get what you want.

Maybe they lost some users, but i think only few went to bitcoin/crypto. I hope we get more ppl involved, but i dont see it happening anytime soon.

I agree - I don't think it necessarily means they transferred to bitcoin.

Crypto is still very alien, even unknown, to majority - it's still far from being THE thing.

PayPal isn't going ANYWHERE anytime soon. 95% of merchants accept it, and everyone has an account. Nothing is going to come along and replace it, least of all BTC. Most people have maybe heard of it, but have no idea how it works or how to get some.

Stripe is slowly getting integrated more and more, but it'll be a while before that's 'main stream'

I agree with you, there is still alot of users that accept paypal. 57 million users is a lot and I dont still believe that happened. If most users dont accept paypal funds, thats the time the paypal will die. But yeah this still wouldn't happen.

bitcoin is more simple than paypal
so people will choose bitcoin, slowly paypal will be abandoned

Nope, actually it's more complex to handle. Securitywise, of course. Than there's some download to be done, if you want to do it right you need your own Blockchain copy on harddisk. Not some stinky Website Wallet.

And then there is that advantage of PayPal utilising Email adresses instead of numbers. However I can imagine some service could offer the same based upon bitcoins, and even using a website wallet. Brand it "BitPal" or similar.

A company could push this through, applying pressure onto PayPal. But not going without that, it's not magically happening by mere market forces all alone.

why it could happen with paypal?
for paypal too many apply a rule that is rigid and inflexible.
paypal too many suspicious of the user, whereas for the source of funds deposited in paypal paypal is not important to know where these funds came while not diminish the benefits for paypal.
paypal today known as moneylenders how not a lot of online companies have suffered losses as a result of freezing the action of payapl. so it is now the preferred means of payment other than paypal.

I doubt that many people use Bitcoin. If they did the price would be much higher.
Bitcoin is more risky on ebay when you buy. As a seller Paypal is more risky.

It is not risky.. it's forbidden.
You all should know by now too but when this site allows crimes to happen then..
I think it's fraud using any virtual currency with Paypal has been since 2012 or longer.
You wouldn't know it by the fact staff here allow it though.

Get caught doing it and lose your money.
And you will get caught eventually and possibly have your account closed.

I am not surprised that PayPal has lost so many users in such a small amount of time. It seems like with more and more people finding out about Bitcoin and the potential that it has, many people are starting to invest in Bitcoin's future and leaving the alternatives behind. I still have a PayPal account but am someone who is more interested in Bitcoin, and think that it has a great future ahead.

I, for one, see it! 57 million people left PayPal to use Bitcoin instead. That explains the enormous rise of its exchange rate.

I doubt that many people use Bitcoin. If they did the price would be much higher.
