Payment received, but still, long time to go until positive ROI, and with the difficulty increase I don't know, I may collecting just dust in a few more months.

Positive ROI with cloud mining is impossible unless you got it at a lower price than what they paid.

Well... time will tell me if you are right or wrong (if wrong it will be the hard way Smiley ).
At today, i'm at 78% of my ROI after 3 month.

Me too.  Smiley I will see if I get the other 22% to make a profit.

Hello,

as I recently invested in a PBMining contract I've create a simple profitability calculator. It allows you to balance your investment based on your difficulty increase rate estimation. Also it allows you to take into account re-investments of your earnings at a given rate (0-100%).

Check it out & I would be happy to get some feedback on the functionality: http://pratscher.org/pbmining/

Thanks!

According to this if you reinvest any part of your earnings you will be at a loss, unless you are very optimistic about the difficulty increase and the price drops from PB.

We will do our best to increase the competitiveness of our prices.  Also keep in mind that there are usually two price drops during a difficulty period, sometimes more.  You just need to get in at an optimal time, and sometimes that's hard to predict.  If we lower our prices too much we could go out of business with overhead costs.  Perhaps wait to see how this difficulty storm plays out?  Nothing wrong with waiting for a better price..  As we become more effective with power costs, that will be another reason to lower prices again.
I like You style in business.

Pb prices are not like the early days.
Yes, price goes down, but difficulty is going up faster..
At present prices you are sure to lose 30% of your outlay.
Its getting like cex around here.
Last diff up 14.5%...
Last price drop 10%..

Actual  price/yield ratio is up 70.66% since february.

DITTO - THE PRICE DECREASe WOULD HAVE TO EQUAL DIFFICULTY INCREASE TO BE OFFSET - so older miners and there opinions and there roi would belong in a different thread- it is not even relate-able... you can still turn a profit in the red you just have to hit on both ends... get your gh while conversion is low and get payout or hold your payout till btc is back up... if u need help, running numbers or making sense of it feel free to contact me

My first 30GHS i bought in March made 0.23580233 btc so far. (cant remember the correct price per GHS back then but its damn close to break even it seems. was it 0.008?)
If btc jump from 600 to 1000 , all good. Just matter of time, everyone wants to jump ship but there is limited supply.

Ordered 75 GHS more Smiley

Actually, it's not going like cex.io. Difficulty is going up, and prices have started to go up there too.

I imagine that what is needed is for Bitcoin to go down in price so that more BTC can be accumulated then for it to go up in price so we can profit from it.
The same shroud be true of alt coin mining, yo want to mine alt coins while BTC price is low so BTC are easier to buy and you get more for your money, then wait for them to go up in price. Perhaps keeping hold of a few altcoins which you think might also do well in the future.

Positive ROI with cloud mining is impossible unless you got it at a lower price than what they paid.

This statement is incorrect, since I have already reached 100% ROI and I am already profiting.
