I know the site is undergoing maintenance right now but I'm a little paranoid. Is http://69.28.224.211/ the correct IP? Ok to login?

If you have control over your private key then nobody else can sign the message needed to change the address.  This is very secure, unless someone knows your private key (in which case they can go straight for your wallet anyway).

@PB Mining

Hi there!
I see that new interface has possibility to change wallet. I think that's not so good idea even yourself said (when someone register it was warning on first place) before that changing of btc address impossible. Also e-mail right now is visible( before was hidden).
I think will be better to disable such feature or perform things manually via PM request with signed message from old wallet or whatever. A lot of windoze computers with zero security isn't? But that's only my visibility so sorry if I'm wrong.

Hey folks what do you thinking about that?

Regards.

All is Ok. They migrate to a new website (with https) that`s why the warning pops up i think.

LOL!

Between the time I opened this thread and got around to posting my message 6-8 replies posted explaining what was going on! DOH!

I do feel better knowing that they were not hacked though.

We are in the process of switching to the new site.  This is all normal and expect a lot of funny things tonight while we mitigate.  This is why we closed the order/registration page.

O.k. so should we try to log in later? or should we check back here when it is ok to log in?

Thank you!

Is there something wrong with the site? Why would I be getting this message?

This is probably not the site you are looking for!

You attempted to reach pbmining.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as ssl6574.cloudflare.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of pbmining.com.

You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site.

Proceed anyway  Back to safety

 Help me understand

I got this message also in german (says Certificate is not correct)

Short question because it is not very clear to me :

I am using Bitcoin-QT 0.8.6beta Wallet.

I make backups of my wallet.dat from time to time and encrypt with 7-Zip.

Do i need the private (secret) key also to restore my wallet just in case?

FUKKING HELL YES!! YOU NEED YOUR KEY!!!

That is indeed little bit tricky, to find out my private (Secret) key i had to go QT Console and:

type: walletpassphrase "your walletpassphrase here" 600
type: dumpprivkey [your public key here]
this will return the private key, you can copy it now; ensure you clear your clipboard/history afterwards
type: walletlock

Thanks for answer, and i "play" around with wallets to learn import public keys, restore backup  and get more comfortable with that console.

I really wonder how many people lost their wallets because they did no proper backup etc.

Sorry for offtopic but maybe that saved me some money Wink

Actually, i dont think much of anything is considered off topic here- this is where pbminers congregate and exchange views/data/whatever..
earlier i was keeping btc in mt gox exchange because i couldnt figure out the backup process for bitcoin qt/d.. Undecided
fortunately i got out of there when they started acting staangely.. Grin

thanx for the instrux for qt/d console it will be handy to know.

It was just 6 hours ago, so I'm waiting on the 12 mark, but does it have to take that long?

And yes, it has to take that long.  This is to ensure our staff gets proper rest.   Cheesy  We don't do automated order processing yet because we put security first.  Anything that could be tampered with by an external force has to be done manually so that we have an oversight of every single order that gets placed.  If you want fast and efficient automation go check out Mt. Gox.   Wink

No problem, I can relate to that! Smiley It's a win,win - happy staff and happy costumers Grin
I'm just fine, now that my 3 GH/s are humming away Cool
And I just submitted my application on the 20 GH/s contest too Cheesy

Just what is the best way to know when you have more hash power available?
I'll be putting all my BTC on this, it would be nice to know when orders are back up again, as soon as they are Wink
Is it enough to watch this thread?

Thanks!

The 12 hour waiting period is shown on the checkout page so that it is not unexpected.
