Hello everybody! This challenge was really cool and I decided to try running a bitcoin node too. I've never done this before so it's an excellent opportunity to learn a little more and the advantages of having your own node.
This is my first day, if I'm doing something wrong please let me know... basically I installed bitcoin core and it's syncing with the blockchain.

See above reply and also yes you can show screenshots as long as it shows your node is synchronizing (or just the main page, if it is done syncing).
Ok then, so can i make a screenshot i provided as the first day progress? so i will just make a screenshot of the second day tomorrow.

I want to join this challenge but I have a question
I have already created a bitcoin core wallet few months ago for some personal use. To join this challenge, do I need to uninstall my bitcoin core wallet and run it again or can I simply run existing Bitcoin Core for 14 days? And long time I don't use it.
As I have written in this thread, you just need to run it for 14 days. No uninstallation required.

Hello NotATether I want to join this challenge but I have a question
I have already created a bitcoin core wallet few months ago for some personal use. To join this challenge, do I need to uninstall my bitcoin core wallet and run it again or can I simply run existing Bitcoin Core for 14 days? And long time I don't use it.

Previously on electrum and currently on wasabi, it seems i'm on the wrong step in learning the basics of bitcoin. How can i follow this NotATether? just need to provide screenshots every day? and if i successfully synchronize within 3 days will it count and be eligible?

My wi-fi speed is very slow. If I use mobile data, will my internet speed increase? If I go to 100% with my wifi network it will probably take a month.
Also I want to know if I do a fresh windows setup on my laptop will bitcoin core wallet restart or just start from the state it is in?

As you already mentioned that you haven't use this for long time then you might also take some time for synchronised. So I don't think there will be known made for uninstall your Bitcoin for joining this challenge as the rules. I think you will able to join this challenge with running your current Bitcoin core for 14 days I have already created a bitcoin core wallet few months ago for some personal use. Anyway, @NotATether Thanks for arranging this Challenge. I am seeing that many newbies are also participating in this challenge I think this challenge will create at least a experience of using Bitcoin core on them.
