People called bitcoin as a fraud or ponzi because they don't understand about bitcoin, they only make their own conclusions without learning the true of bitcoin, if those people want to take their time to learn they will notice that bitcoin is totally different, some of them only know bitcoin from the media, so they only know the surface of bitcoin
Not only are the people who call Bitcoin a fraud or Ponzi clueless about Bitcoin, they are also clueless about Ponzi schemes/Pyramid schemes. It makes 0 sense to call Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme and it is the dumbest thing anyone could say about Bitcoin.
Ponzi schemes have a portfolio manager of the Ponzi and they guarantee returns to investors. Bitcoin does not guarantee any returns and there is no central operator that controls Bitcoin. The head of the Ponzi is the one that profits, but who is the head of Bitcoin? And where are the promised returns? Because of that, Bitcoin simply cannot be a Ponzi scheme.
Don't even get me started on how it cannot be a pyramid scheme...
Bitcoin is a fraud or a ponzi scheme has been out there for a while now but to be honest fewer and fewer people are thinking that way. I think the only way we can beat this thinking is by properly educating people on how the block chain technology works and what Bitcoin is, what is the purpose of Bitcoin and what are the benefits of getting into crypto currency. Now if the people you are trying to teach does not change their mind then let them be. Sooner or later they will realize that they are wrong about crypto currency.
Most of the people who call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme never owned a crypto. Or those who FOMO and got rekt on ATH w/o doing research on the volatility of the market.

Anyone can call it ponzi scheme and fraud but if you think of it, everything worldly is fraud. You buy apple products with thousands of dollars but how much are they really worth? Why would people give out thousands of dollars for a macbook when they can buy a laptop for $300? Is it really worth that much or is it just another ponzi scheme that apple is bringing to the world better gadgets than any other brands? So we're talking about bitcoin now. What are we really paying for when we buy bitcoin? We pay for an online program and the people running the program helping transactions go through, or we call mining. Miners put in so much time and most especially the cost of mining is so much. That is merely the reason why bitcoin will cost much and if incase it will dive too low and will not be enough to pay for miners, then that could be the time bitcoin will die, or not.
well i think its because there is a lot of people used bitcoin as a ponzi or a scheme to scam other and after that the news will be spread by the people who has been scammed and other people will think that they need to avoid being scam and telling bitcoin is a scam scheme economy and other people alert with that situation, we all know that the bitcoin is not a scam so dont worry if they dont wan to hear anything about this let them.
For me it is the normal view of the people who does not really who bitcoin and who does not like bitcoin. In addition we all know that now a day's there are more scammers around the world looking to scam someone. Maybe some of them just wanted to be safe from scammers.
People only needs proper explanation on how bitcoin works and how bitcoin used to scam thousands of dollars which has nothing to do actually in bitcoin itself its only a digital currency using blockhchain I think one reason to create bitcoin is to eliminate this kinds of frauds in online space not to used it to known Ponzi schemes.
People are doing this as a way to discredit bitcoin, it's an attempt to try to kill something that they #1 don't know about and #2 Don't want to thrive. When you're scared of something, you get to the point where you're just slinging insults for no reason. Many people here in Philippines that Bitcoin is scam. This happened when there is a group offers a fake investment, that you will actually get 5% of your investment every week. After a few months, the group dissapeared. The news getting all over in the Philippines media. After that, some people here said that dont trust in bitcoin.

Sometimes this people who have known nothing says everything and sometimes creates word they believe isn`t the truth. However, every one of us is good at making judgments but since it is easy to create out of believing certain generalization; we tend to critic things we didn`t know. Bitcoin is not a fraud but the people who used the platform to steal the money of the people are the scam and that is why we need to support the regulation so that these scam people will be prevented to continue to make some negative thoughts about Bitcoin. I just don't understand of why the other brand will be compared to Bitcoin about scam issues to think that these brands are quality assured and they did not force the people to buy their products.
Those MacBooks and iPhone have got uses and premium products priced accordingly. BTC has not got as much real use as them but it is being used for payments and all.
