Would they be held in the company's custodial wallet, meaning they control the private keys, or will it be non-custodial, meaning you have sole control of your assets and hold the private keys and that you can prove that the assets you hold are your own.

If, your crypto are being held hostage by any company that employs the MLM strategy and use cryptocurrencies as their "product" are just fooling people out of their hard earned money. And if you join that company, you've just been scammed. They can fold up at any time, and any amount you see in their platform are just eye candy.

MLM business? Not sure what you mean by MLM in crypto, but that is the worst business anyone can do when it comes to normal business. I mean, unless you are at the top level of the MLM scheme you will be losing money. And most people knows that MLM are like pyramid schemes were people at the bottom are the ones that get can hardly break even with their investment. So far I was talking about those legit MLM business. There are other business that poses as MLM but is actually a pyramid scheme. So yeah, people shouldn't join those new "growing MLM crypto business" unless they wish to lose all.

I do agree that people should be looking for their own ways of making money, otherwise they are going to be pretty upset about it in the long run. I know that it is not going to be too easy, but it is going to be not that hard neither if you just focus on finding what works for you. Not a lot of people do that, they just look what others think, and whatever is the most commonly way to approach the market, they take that road and I feel like that is not really that easy.

I personally believe the best we could do would be finding all the ways we could invest, and try to see which one would be the best for our own personality, that way we would be investing a lot better.

But people will still do it, I have friends who do not mind being the first investors, I criticize them for this, because they take part in this.

If Multi Level Marketing were to become a cryptocurrency marketing business model it would look like a Ponzi scheme because there are no items that we can touch when we buy them, only lines and pictures that we get.
a big advantage for those who join early on is a percentage of sales and those who feel at a disadvantage are those who join last.

I am thinking the other way, now people from the countries which are not really that rich on paper started to think in more innovative ways and starting future based companies and also people may join MLM because there is no really other way cause their financial sources are limited but sadly most MLM fails or scam so I am never going to recommend that to anyone but starting something even if it's not really profitable now may turn out to be in in future.

MLM businesses flourish in South East Asia and Africa because govt doesn't give any loans for small businesses. So how people will start their business or any production unit for their company? MLM company help in this regards with high interest. All those MLM companies are not well regulated so fraud and scam activity largely happens in those regions. Sometimes people became homeless because of these MLM companies to repay loans. It has pros and cons so can not say it's good overall.

MLM has become rampant in Southeast Asian countries, and some even take human life as a game. It is scary to hear that northern Myanmar is a concentration camp for pyramid schemes. This kind of whimsical, money-making rhetoric deceives people. The reason is that individual abilities cannot compete fairly.

For that sake - earning money. Many jobless people have fallen into such a trick. It is not an obvious scam to see and many can prove that they got money as a return from their investment but just like in many Ponzi and quick rich schemes, they build trust first and succeeded. It really sounded like they can be trusted anyway but things changed as they continue their business which it ends up scam.

Now it is really hard to trust this kind of earning strategy and also for us people must not be blind to see the real intention of this project.

There is nothing wrong with MLM as long as the company involved is legit. MLM system is a great tool to boost ones time. Through weblike duplication, we are able to multiply our time and make it more than 24 hours a day. Though people need to work hard in order to establish his network of people. But to be at safe side, I think affiliate marketing can be an alternative to network marketing. Just make sure that the kind of affiliate marketing we are joining doesn't need us to pay for some kind of registration fee. Grin
