Thank you for your feedback, it's very much appreciated.

We are always working hard to improve the sites user experience and are aware that our load times can be on the slow side.

We will make every effort to improve any technical issue/load times over the coming months.

As for social media campaigns we are looking into several ways we can promote ourselves (free & paid). Any ideas/promotion from users are very much welcome and appreciated.

We are currently running a 0.25 Bitcoin Twitter competition until 31st July. See our blog for details.

Thanks Again.

The PPB Team.

great site. I thought some time ago to develop service like that.
note: your site is very slow, your images and index page is to big.
not a bad idea to run social campaign or something.

Nice looking site, I will definitely try to find some freelancers their when I need some work done but I think you need to advertise a bit more to gain more Workers/Employers and a twitter re-tweet campaign or a sig campaign will really help your site get more recognition. GL

Many Thanks, that sounds great! If you have any projects/jobs that need doing then please don't hesitate to post the on PPB. It's completely Free to use and no hidden charges.

Yes your absolutely right! The site has only been up and running a few weeks and we are working hard to promote the site as much as we can. We have a Tweet competition running at the minute to win 0.25 Bitcoin. See our BLOG for details.

Also don't forget to follow us on Twitter @PPBitcoin and any retweets are much appreciated.

Any ideas for promotion are very welcome.

Thanks.

Great site, i can advertise my skill there Grin

BTW i still little confuse about the escrow page, i think escrow is middle man, but what i see is just fill my bitcoin addy , doge addy and litcoin addy Undecided

I notice Ikydesu that you haven't filled out any info on your profile. If you go to Find Freelancers you will see a few example Freelancers who have correctly filled in the relevant info so that they stand out form the crowd.

You Freelance profile is looking very empty therefore very unapproachable. Please go ahead and Edit your profile HERE.

Please note: At this point in time there is no way for Employers to contact Freelancers directly through PPB. But you can add your social media details and website within your profile so that potential employers can connect with you directly through there.

If you can fill out this info then it makes you more appealing for Employers looking thru People Per Bitcoin to contact you.

Thank you!

Thanks Ikydesu, much appreciated!

Dezoel and Ikydesu, The Escrow details i.e the Bitcoin, litecoin & dogecoin fields within the 'Payments' menu are for you wallet address that you will be paid to from the Employer.

As an example, if you both have signed up as Freelancers and you have applied for the 'SEO' job you see on the homepage. Once the Employer has selected and approved your application for the job he will send the agreed job funds (which in this case is in Bitcoin) to the Escrow, which is processed via GoUrl.io and is held until the job is marked as complete, when the funds will be released to you the Freelancer.

So to summarise.... the employer pays up front for the work to be carried out. Once the funds are safely within the Escrow wallet then the Freelancer can carry out the work. Once the Freelance has completed the job and both parties are happy, then the funds will be released from the Escrow to the Freelancer.

Please read our 'How it Works' for a step by step guide.

It's a simple way for Freelancers & Employers to connect.

Many Thanks

Hi, how to add an offer as freelancer?

regards,
s

Hi Sindren,

Thanks for signing up and posting on PPB but I understand what you mean now.

I see you have created a Job/project post to offer your freelance services. The idea of a project post is that an employer can offer a job that Freelancers can then apply for and not the other way round.

It's advisable within your Dashboard after successful registration, to go to 'Edit Profile'. Within there you are given the opportunity of filing out key information such as skills, hourly rate and job/user biography.

You are then featured on the 'Find Freelancers' page where potential employers can see what you have to offer and who you are.

I see you haven't filled any of those out, it would be a good idea to do so that potential employers can see who you are and what you offer.

If you can please do this then I can remove the project you created, as it may confuse people coming to the site. Especially if Freelancers go to the 'Find Work' section.

For more information on how the website works, please visit our How it Works page for a step by step guide.

Many Thanks.

Hi thanks for registering!

It's still early days for us and the PPB website is going to be expanding and improving everyday, so we really appreciated your feedback!!

Instead of receiving a very dull, plain text email when you sign up. You will now receive a very nice PPB welcome email, and you'll be happy to know it doesn't include your password!  Smiley

Many thanks.

Just registered. You can't send people passwords in plain text over email. This is not secure!
