Income motivates and highly income motivates absolutely. If you want to see people put in the work increase their pay while giving them a non-toxic work environment. I don't care if the pay is very high most a lot of people will leave a toxic work environemnt for a non-toxic work environment and accept to receive lower wages. However this discussion is not about toxicity in the work place.

I work in a low paying job but I don't care because I have been able to find a reason for why I am working there and what I want out of that organization. I have also been able to find a side hustle. The job is flexible that I can easily juggle two jobs and my productivity is not affected. My mental health is also not affected. This is where receiving low pay doesn't hurt so long as there is a personal motivation for you, like to gain a particular skill to move up the work ladder and other whatever it is.

You are correct that people are motivated to work because of money. Some are willing to engage in any form of training or job because it pays more. The economy is not okay, so we need to do all we can to survive.

But I am not in the category of people who will work any kind of job because I want to live a luxurious life. My focus in life is to earn enough to settle my basic needs and have extra to invest. Life is too short to be wasted on a rat race. A job with high pay without the privilege to relax and spend time with friends and family, will not bring fulfillment. Maybe I might consider doing the job for sometime so that I can raise for a business or investment. But spending my entire life working like a bee is not in my plan.

I will want to spend my life working on what I love and not working for money till I die..

That depends. Some people would be so desperate enough that they would be willing to do about anything. Which is sad to say the very least. People can put their pride and dignity down if it meant they are able to put money in the table. While some value their pride and dignity a lot more than any amount of money.
I think we should consider that it has something to do with our society as well. These days you can’t survive without money. People get hungry and people get desperate. I am not justifying illegal acts but I also try to be understanding of how and why they ended up in that situation.

If that's the case everyone will be willing to do dangerous jobs because of the payout, if it is good enough we will all risk it, but not me and I am sure that there are people like me on here too, I have the will to reject some jobs even while their payouts are very good, because they are too dangerous and life shortening.

Seriously, you can't blinded by how much you will get, but how effect it will be in your life, I know some people don't care but it is the same reason why people push drugs and kill people for living, it is all because of money.

I would rather improve my skills or learn something new to have a better 10years in the future, I've done it in the past with crypto, I can do it again on something else, I just have to be sure that I really want it.

No matter what happens in this world, in the end, people want to see one thing, which is the result. What you did, how you did it, where you came from, what you are doing next, you will need more than these to follow you; always follow your results.

These results motivate you and check whether you are going in the right direction. I want to give you an example, young man, you are a student, your annual final is an exam, in the results of that exam, one of your two friends have done good results or what happened in his previous life, no one will see them, everyone will say that he did well, he has improved. On the other hand, when you visit a friend who does not get the expected results, everyone will look at him differently: he could not do anything good, he could not improve, etc. From here, it is understood that the world plans the next steps based on the results.

You have to do something to improve the results so that people do not think negatively after seeing them. They can think of good things; they can think about how you are improving. You have to pay attention to this.

Money is everything i should say but there would be those people that will make up some argument that money isnt everything but to think or know that these people who will be making up these words are already into those pinnacle of success or financially free kind of condition and thats why its so simple that they can be able to say such thing. For us who are struggling on living basing up on paycheck to paycheck then we will really be loving on having a life on which we do have that tons of money. Yes, there are indeed things in life that cant be bought by money on which at the moment that you will really be able to attain these things then you will be finding for more. Human beings are naturally greedy on which on the moment that they are seeing opportunities on making money then they will simply be diving into it and thats a normal approach. We do really love to achieve that others been able to do so. It might really that look simple but it isnt, we will really be able to realize that it was never been that easy yet there will really be tons of challenges that you will be able to experience along  the way. Having that motivation is something that what makes that push you further,for those who are serious on trying out to make changes into their lives then they are the ones will really be having those chance on having a better life in compared to other. Somehow not all people do end up successful because there are some instances or those individuals that no matter how hard they do try but still they do end up on failing continously. It do matters all on how you will be able to sustain yourself despite of those challenges.

Every job always has a price but we each must also be aware that the value or price of each job is always different even though the value may seem the same, but the level of difficulty and ease can be different. And people who still want the best in their lives are people who are wise enough and can still think sanely so that they are still willing to try to make it happen in their lives. But when we see someone who has worked hard but still hasn't gotten anything, there may be something wrong with the way he does it so he still needs to fix it in the future.

Perhaps that's one way of looking at it. In the end, I guess it all boils down to character and options.

If you like to draw or paint but don't like the idea of drawing or painting something not of your personal choice, then it's an option not to accept commissions. If you don't like drawing somebody else's ugly face without payment, then don't draw that face or don't draw it without payment.

I have a friend who loves baking. She has a family business selling cakes. She shares that they're sometimes up even in the wee hours of the morning when there's high demand to make sure they don't miss targets. But she shares it with mirth. She fondly remembers such moments.

Compare that with so many others who are only working for the sake of salary. You'd only hear grumbles, angry complaints, grievances, and so on. They complain against a workmate, supervisor, management, type of work, overtime, daily commute, and a million others. Despite all the hassles, inconvenience, discomfort, and so on; despite complaining about them almost everyday, they stay because the paycheck is good. Doesn't sound so attractive, though.

There's nothing like that, work in something you passionate is a bullshit.

Let's say you're passionate in drawing, which make you spend your childhood time for drawing as your hobby. It's all fine because there's no target, you can draw whatever you like and you can do anything you want.

But, once you start to work under someone or open commission, you no longer enjoy drawing because you're forced to follow the rules, target pressure and you have no excitement to draw without getting paid.

Something seems to be fundamentally wrong with this. I understand them somehow especially coming from poor people, but if one has enough money and yet the same remains to be the primary motivation, something more important is probably missed. 

Anyway, this looks like a perspective in an upended world. Ideally, you do what you love, not love what you do. Money will naturally follow. Doing what you love results into better output. If you're passionate with what you're doing, you will do it in the best possible way, producing the best possible result. You don't mind giving all your time, energy, creativity, focus, and so on. You enjoy what you're doing. It makes you happy.

People looking for workers are probably guided by the same principle. They don't just make big offers to those who are only motivated by the pay, to those who only take time to try learning stuff because there's financial opportunity from it.

People want the best out of everything and when they don't get it, they make move for another option that will guarantee them getting the best.and I think people should be paid to ransomely for a work done cause they are putting in much efforts in making sure they render the best hands to customer's and it's high time we think that everything is number cause it's initiates alot of things.

You have stretched a single point and made a whole article out of it, which was unnecessary. We all know that people want higher numbers, especially when it comes to finances and pay rates for jobs and work. There is nothing new and surprising in this. If I have money, I know I can hire anyone to do some work for me if I offer them good money; however, whether the person can do that work efficiently or not is a different matter, and I must evaluate before I reach a conclusion.

The person who offered your friend a job that he wasn't qualified for must have been dumb or in a hurry to get the job done as quickly as possible because no sane person would hire anyone without testing whether they know what they are going to do or not. If you don't care about quality and only care about the job getting done, then it's okay to get it done by anyone, but if you are looking for quality, which is why you are spending extra money, you should hire someone who is fit for the job.

A person might be able to complete a task by watching some tutorial like your friend, but it's unethical and unfair for the one who hired you because you won't be able to do the work as efficiently and neatly as someone from that field could.

At the end of the day, you need to weigh your chances in life. Either get a job or not, whatever it is. You won't be choosy if the options are limited. As long as you can live decently, you don't need to worry about the nature of the job. Be choosy when you already have a lot to choose from. But for the moment, take whatever job is in front of you that can pay your bills and have a decent meal and area to sleep in.

We all want to get paid commensurate to our skill and what we can accomplish in the fastest possible time. If you want to get paid with the right price, you have to go the extra mile, and you must also be good in the industry you are in.
There's nothing like getting paid the right way on the job you love, but if you're going to do the job because of the money and not because of the love of the job, the management will see you as someone who is just here for the money and will not become an asset to the company. Make yourself an asset first where you are working, and money will just flow.

I don't think they'd rather be homeless. Once they experience being homeless they come running back to their old jobs that pays the bill because you get worse when you get to the tent city. All drugs are offered to them and they will not be able to go sleep at night if they want to because they're not going to feel safe when every minute there is a gun shot that will disturb your sleep.

People work 3 jobs to make it in this world. Those who prefer to be in jail are hopeless because those homeless today are even working.

There is a price then there is quality that must be guaranteed, because every service must be done professionally and with satisfactory results. Do not immediately glorify it by imitating others, you need to show a characteristic where customers who have ordered are able to provide positive feedback. It would be useless to determine the price for a job if it is not from an expert in the field.

The fiats as the USD is running out of value that even when working your ass out and get paid, a daily paid job can not even afford a daily bill for a common man so it feels being cheated after working that hard and can not be proud of your job because it is not meeting your bill.
How does the common man survive in such way and they government are just there seated in the office chair taxing you from an amount of money that is not yet enough for you and your family.
How the hell can one even set plans of retirement if it keep going this way? There you will see an old man ought to be a grandpa doing the hard labours job with the requirements or man power just to keep life going.
Sadden to say, the poor dies earlier before the rich at this course but yet the poor thrives on putting smiles on their face because no one would help you if you don't help yourself.
Government is a zero minded already.

Money also help to improve learning on a specific line of work or business. Though it's not fine to depend completely on funds when working, I've noticed that people who focus on getting paid fail to advance in learning what they're into. Just like the example above, if the person stops progressing in the knowledge that brought them 50k, they may not gain further contracts, untill all the funds has been exhausted.

However, with money in control, people are willing to visit their offices without being forced or dragged to work. In economics, it's called the "invisible hand" that locates who should be patronized in a specific time and day. That's why everyone don't argue about working because money is involved.

Money can be a strong motivator if you are working to achieve towards financial goals, or even other goals that will get unlock if you have sufficient amount of funds. Let’s get practical here, the bigger amount of compensation, the higher the momentum to perform your job.

However, if we are talking here about complete motivation, then I would say not only extrinsic like money but even intrinsic factors like passion, reason or purpose, and your set goals for your accomplishments should also be consider. Money can be a great motivation, but you need also personal growth and passion to make your motivation more effective.

I don't think so. When people are focused solely on money, they don't focus on their job, they are careless and inconsistent about it, because they aren't concerned about the quality of the service they are offering, as everything to matter for them is money. Motivation can't be based only on financial reward. It has to be based on the satisfaction of the individual in concluding his service with excellency. He must feel proud of himself for what he is doing, and as consequence, the money should come.

I've face a bunch of situations recently where the service providers were solely interested in money, asking for payment beforehand, talking about how profitable the niche of the market they were inserted was, but in the end, they lacked quality and didn't deliver what they promised to do. This kind of professional who want to see number is greedy and inconsequential. Stay away at all costs for your own good.
