For me personally who always spend money to gamble and when I get free spins at the casino whether it's a new casino or at my regular place in any event it will feel good, it's like you get a scatter in a slot game, it's fun especially if you get a big win from free funds of course it's like you dreamed at night then realized in the morning.

My opinion is quite similar to yours when comes to free spins, people are not supposed to have any expectations on free spins, they are rather a tool for casinos to lure in gamblers and try their games so they can get convinced and deposit their own money to continue their session further.
