I would also like to post my comment here even you guys already mentioned the common preference of a bettor that a betting site must have. I second the motion for having the reputation here in bitcointalk, I think that’s the best choice. I also consider the support of the site, if ever we encounter errors or any issues we can contact them easily and to be provided the fast solution/s.

Hey everyone!

I asked you sometime ago about your perfect Dice experience (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/perfect-dice-experience-5038879) and received a lot of great answers, thank you again!

I've noticed that while Dice is extremely popular here, on BitcoinTalk, there is also a couple of well-established Sportsbook.
What I'm curious about is what are the most important things for you to choose crypto sportsbooks/betting website?

I'd appreciate all the answers and merit talks Smiley

Bests!

Though my opinions are highly objective, you can take them into consideration while choosing your next platform

1. Avoid sportsbet.io, they're involved in shady stuff.
2. Odds are not everything, make sure the sportsbook has a good reputation when it comes to processing bets and paying on time.
3. Avoid sportsbooks which don't have a reputation on bitcointalk.
4. You might as well want to consider anonymity and KYC policies if that's your concern.

I personally like sport books because that the gambling I'm really good at. Concerning the crypto dice site been popular on here is because the crypto online gambling all started by the dice site owners.
Meanwhile, the most important features most gamblers look for in choose betting site are
1) Instant withdrawals
2) Good and friendly customers support
3) Easy to use site
4) Licensed
5) Good Odds
6) Site with classic casino and something new.
You had some valid points buddy. We should ready to face both the possibility of winning and losing.Play your game money independently.Keep some money for playing gambling and you should not increase the fund after you had won some price. If the withdrawal of time of betting site is low, choose that site.Because we may need money in any emergency.

for me it's all about good odds , so when it comes to betting with btc I only bet with Bitcoinrush , Sportsbet ( after price boost ) and Betking
bitcoinrush should eliminate nitrogen from the market , no offense to nitrogen or nitrogen fans but bitcoinrush already offering like all the selections that nitro offers but with higher odds and daily cashbacks so it keeps surprising me that nitrogen is still the most popular site here

if you want to win more ( or at least lose less ) then you should stick to the sites that offer higher odds for the selections that you want to play
personally I stick to the 3 books that I mentioned + some fiat asian sites that have higher odds in some cases

Interesting to see that no one cares about the possibility to enforce claims after scammed!

Looks like many bettors consider sports betting as well as gambling.

KYC for a gambling site really suc**. It shouldn't be implemented. No way it can be applied same with crypto exchanges today

By the KYC do you mean any data (including e-mail and/or username) or specific sensitive information like name, address, ID?
by KYC we mean documents confirming the bettors identity like national ID, passport, proof of home address etc
its bs for CRYPTO gambling website to have that when crypto is based on anonymity
When it do talks KYC then definitely it would ask out Personal documentations which had been mentioned above. Name and address can be faked out to it cant be considered as KYC.

On OP, if you tend to make a Poll between a gambling site that do require KYC or not, you will able to find out on whats the most preferred by the community. Anonymity will always be seek out so its better to stick to it.

I will say nice promotions, good odds, high stakes limits and the range of sportsbetting markets is important too.

Thanks for the answer!

I believe that most of the established sportsbooks meet these criteria. Do you play on all/couple of them? Looking actively for best odds? Have your favs?

Generally no at most of the cases or it depends on the situation. For example, I have some funds on a certain sportsbook site and find a best odds on the other site. I found it hassle sometimes to make a deposit. So yeah depend on my mood.

Having a good support is really one of the most characteristics that a certain gambling site does. Withdrawals is fine even it's not instant but it must processed right away for let's say not less than 10 to 15 minutes.

Also aside from variety of sports, I preferred those who have variety of betting option under the same sports.

NO need for KYC

well there is a lot of unnecessary drama nowadays with most of the sportsbooks
most of my betting i made on cloudbet, which is quite slow with their manual withdrawing of larger btc amount, but i never had any problem with them
i also made few bets on sportsbet.io or whatever its exactly called, the withdrawal was faster but i saw someone complaining about them forcing some larger bettors do KYC in order to release the funds
that reminds me of another criteria
NO need for KYC

i also made like 2 or 3 bets in the past on nitrogensports, but i didnt like the layout of it
but tbh right now i would recommend nitrogensports the most out of all sportsbooks, even if just for the lack of drama or complaints about their site
