Free market and free speech seem to be under valued in this thread :/

Oh well...

Advertising isn't "free" speech.  Its paid speech.

Is this still relevant? BFL is shipping now, they're shipping slowly but they have shipped ASIC miners.

I'd say it's still relevant so long as they haven't satisfied all orders. BFL shouldn't have continued to sell pre-orders if they knew delivery would be extremely delayed.

Definitely still relevant. Look at the community delivery list http://bfl.ptz.ro/

The latest received order, as submitted by the community, was ordered on 2012/09/18
Comparing with the current date being 2013/07/02, That's 287 days difference.

So, while BFL aren't a scam.. they are blatantly false advertising.
With their website claiming that an asic will be delivered within 2 months of ordering. When in-fact it will take 9 Months (based on the historical data available)

As I said, it is essentially turning their heads the other way as to claim they are blameless all the while accepting BTC for advertising on this forum from BFL which is likely CUSTOMER / INVESTOR PREORDER MONIES, much like the BFL charity "donation".

So long as they get their cut of the stolen money, they're happy.

This thread along with all other threads to rid BFL of trying to profit from suckers buying into their SHAM (i.e. SCAM) is in vain.

The mods, pretty much all of them have shown that they are willing to look the other way despite community sentiment, facts, and blatant lies from BFL.

They say they believe BFL is mismanaged but are not willing to take proper actions to help prevent noobs from buying into BFL's lies.

Let them pay the bills for bitcointalk. If anyone buys from BFL uninformed and makes no prior research, it is his problem for being lazy.

Advertising here are paying for the forum hosting etc.  I think if they are willing to pay, the forum has no reason to reject them.  Of course whether members buy from them or not will be up to individual discretion.

Then you seem to be blind.  Shocked

advertising "shipping in 14 days" since ~one year is ok for you?

But please, no more discussion.
