nah keep it closed source..... can't deal with 50000000000000000000000000000000 nxt clones per day.
If there are no programmers out there that can develop something themselves in java to do the same thing then that say they are either stupid or else he is smarter than all other java programmers and deserves to keep his project closed and not have it replicated over and over.
I have hardly any nxt but even so i am happy there are not 100000 of copies of it all fighting for exchanges etc etc. Just keep it closed and grow out the distribution. Those that have millions will get rich off of nxt ....the rest of us won't. However when a zillion nxt clones hit the exchanges it will do more damage than good for us all anyway.
If you are frightened having it on your machine.... just buy a $100 second hand laptop and run it on that. If you can afford to buy a bunch of it you can afford to get yourself a cheap laptop.

The NEX Community ( https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-nex-nxt-reimagined-industrial-strength-imagine-fairness-422052 ) demand that Nxt release the source code to their client!
As a fundamental tenet of crypto-currencies, all source code must be open source.
Nxt has not released their source code (only decompiled versions exists).
How can we trust Nxt with closed source binaries?
How do we know if Nxt is not a trojan in disguise?
Sign the petition and demand that Nxt open source their code!
Too many people have already lost their NXT 'accidentally' To hackers because of weak passwords. Nex will be distributed on slate and written in chalk to prevent hackers from stealing funds.that this demands action!

Take the decompiled code with you. Then what will you do? Will you develop other unimplemented functions? I don't think Friction-Java expert can do it.
