Why the radeon VII is still shown that has only 8GB of RAM? And why it fails prealocating DAG and says that there is not enough vram?

Hi, I have rigs with 6 x p106-100 mining edition and they work just fine with 5.3b (on 382.43 driver version).
But when I update miner to 5.4c it simply doesn't start, miner closes in a second.

I tried updating drivers to 460.89 and 5.4c starts but shows me errors:

NVAPI error in NvapiWrapper.c:316 : -6
Unable to load NvAPI: error 3
GPU1: unable to init NvAPI with bus ID 65536
GPU2: unable to init NvAPI with bus ID 131072
GPU3: unable to init NvAPI with bus ID 196608
GPU4: unable to init NvAPI with bus ID 262144
GPU5: unable to init NvAPI with bus ID 327680
GPU6: unable to init NvAPI with bus ID 393216

What's wrong? Should I either continue to stay on 5.3b and don't update or there's a better driver to work with p106-100?

Yes I fell for it and downloaded the file before it was removed. Installed it on my rig. Removed it as soon as I discovered it was bogus.

Linux Install for EthOS.. Help needed.

I use EthOS and my rigs are mostly with 5.0 or 5.1 PhoenixMiner. I used the Ethos update option. It refers to GitHub for third party miner install script for Ethos. But it updates the PhoenixMiner to 5.3b edition, not the latest 5.4c edition.

I see instructions to download the .exe file for Windows. Can someone point me towards EthOs Install for 5.4c edition without using Ethos miner manager?

Thanks,

reinstall it

bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cynixx3/third-party-miner-installer-for-ethos/master/miner-manager) phoenixminer install

i have done it 3 hours ago and it update the PM to latest

I’m mining with 9 x 5500xt 8gb. 4 of the cards work fine, but 5 of the cards take 30 minutes to build the DAG. This doesn’t happen with other miners, so I know it’s not a card issue. Any ideas why this happens?
All cards switched to compute mode?

Thanks,

Its there just in /opt/miners/phoenixminer
do a ls in there and you will see itunder folder /PhoenixMiner_5.4c_linux

just have to copy the file up a directory level and will fix it.

will need to do a chmod +x on the miner file after copy

Increase the Windows page file size to at least 29 GB to avoid out of memory errors and unexpected crashes.

P104 and P106 no need virtual memory, don't check it

3060 Ti here - works well, unless...

- I set max overclock at start (only incorrect shares are generated - I need to start lower and increase)
- Epoch changes (same result as above)

Please fix.

Same Issue here
using the November drivers still  to avoid the issues...

Please look into the RTX 3060 ti issue with this

It runs beautifully  at 63.4 MHs with low power 130W once it starts at low mem clock , but if you start with higher mem clock it gets many invalids.

So I'm not the only one here having this problem
I have an Asus 3070 and I can reach 61 Mhs without any problem, but if I increase my overclock before start the miner, I have almost all invalid shares, but if I increase slowly with miner running, no problem, until the next epoch when I have all invalid shares again

I'm wonder here if this is really a problem with drivers and miner or just too much overclock, now I'm using + 1099 on memories and only 1% of invalid shares

I Hope @Phonexminer takes a look and give us an idea what is the issue,  Maybe the miner can set the mem clock down at start and before each EPOCH  and then set it back up.
Please help us get more out of the RTX 3060 ti  please

Things are relative here.  My RX 5700 do 10% lower hash but with same power.  I like to keep my cards at below 60 deg reported.
Room temp is 23-24 a bit warm

Thanks, msi 3060ti ventus does not seem bad.
