only beginners will be tempted by looking for easy money, the concept is simple but in terms of calculations this will return profit capital. I've seen a project with a phone mine concept that failed and there was a bounty in 2019 I forgot the name of the project. I'm glad there is a project founder setting up a mining model telephone side income but it needs to be researched again
This model is what we've seen from a project like Electroneum and that became popular so quickly because it's the first one. But not long enough, the project's buzz became silent and it's got a low volume today. Next project that made that model was the Pi network which is until now nowhere to found in the market despite the marketing they've made and is just liking wasting a lot of people's hope with their simulated mining on phone which how they have introduced advertised the project.

Good day fellas!

After NFT, what will be the next big thing? In just its early stages, seem Phone Mined Coins on trending these days, tho mostly are based on cloud mining/Solo mining and some sorts of simulation mining.

Don't get your hopes up and think this will become a thing, there is no way phone mining can become the next big thing. There is nothing like phone mining in the first place. Can you list how many trending coins are mostly based on cloud/solo mining?
If you must know, people stop engaging in cloud mining long ago because they are mostly scams, you are pretty much wasting your time and resource thinking you are mining.
The next trend is nothing close to mining let alone phone mining.

Web3 is what's making name as these moments but as for these coins that can be mined through phone, I don't think so.

They've been known like around 2018 and many projects have introduced that mobile mining but it's not an actual mining and as you've said, it's just a simulation mining, means not a real thing.

Am sure you already came across with TAUcoin Blockchain lab? Based in Cambridge, UK. They are working on the Phone Mining Coins(PMC) open source technology based on server-less communication and lite energy mining consensus.
I think, I've heard of them before but as what I believe with projects like this, they have made some buzz a few years ago. I doubt that they'll still do the same this time, still, good luck.

PMC technology enables your phone to mine tens of crypto assets independent from linking commercial servers. For example, any phone can mine “London PMC”, that is exclusive for London in the PMC world. Londoners will see the coin natively living in the app and use them for payment, chat and advertisement. The global phones network will secure and grow the city blockchain collectively.

Yes its already happening, but do you think this will work out? Considering phones' resources while running such a blockchain.
It's just all about the connection from nearby "phone miners" and getting the data from everyone who's in. Honestly, I don't think it will work. PoW and mining requires that much power and using hashrates and power from smartphones won't be enough to secure the network.

Well, it's good to remain as a simulation mining and see how long its hype, if there's any will stay.

It's hard to say anything for sure. but, I guess the next trend could be WEB3.0

cloud mining is a scam. Whatever website or app offers you this service, it is a scam, and you're probably going to lose money by purchasing their mining packages and maintaining fee.

Its been a while where these mobile phone mining does already exist but most of them are scams and since we are talking for some legit company then i dont see for these things to be feasible.
2 projects that I know that their coins can be earn by mining through the phone.
First Pi Network and another one if I'm not mistaken mangos coin long gone.
But actually these two coins are not really obtained from mining, specifically for the first PI Network because there is no power used from the phone looks good but that's precisely the peculiarity, while the second there must move your cellphone continuously until it reaches a certain amount in a day and can be withdrawn to exchange and convert to btc (I got much profit on this coin).
So to my knowledge so far there hasn't been a project that could actually implement that and I doubt it could be implemented in the future as well.

There are certain parameters that this should "only" work.

1. Consensus shouldn't be POW or POS or with any current protocol.
2. Resource mining consumption should be around or less than 10mb/day. Otherwise, it burns cellphone away.
3. Not centralized
4. No private servers
5. With token value?
6. to be/listed in big exchanges
7. with limited amount of native token

etc..

Only these I coudl think of of the moment.

Mobile phones are for the purpose of sending out text messages or solely speaking about primary usage of it and involving it on mining which would really spending
up power and processes and i dont know if these things are hoax or just simply image manipulation just to make it look that you are actually mining but you arent.
I cant just trust up these kind of projects but if there's someone who do get interested then it would be your choice.

I am not sure at all that the next hype will be some sort of mining, whether cloud or phone mining, or even hard drive mining, which was extremely popular when the CHIA coin was popular. I don't think mining is of interest to a large number of people at all because of its cost and shallow profitability. It is much more profitable to spend time on popular business models of earning token or mint NFT and any web3 initiatives. This is what the crypto community is interested in now and will be interested in the future. This is just my opinion.
