And so much more but its seem the world has evolved so greatly and many things we do before, have now been inputed in the internet and its now makes it access alot easier but I had some recent arguments with some folks in my locality that before, gambling physically with people was more fun than doing online in these recent casino that seem to cover all of our old gambling habits but I argued on the latter. So I thought I should drop here and here some of opinion of most advance gamblers with lots of gambling experience.
I would give my opinion based on two sides
- Evolution/ Adaptation to cultural change.
- Personality traits.
a) Evolution/Adaptation to cultural change:
In the past before the internet existed, people gambled with other people..They gambled in the streets, at the pub and in all sorts of places and on all sorts of things. It was normal. It was what every other persons were doing. However, as the slots machines were invented, they started changing their gambling patterns and preferences. They didn't need other humans. The machine was enough for them. Some started to prefer poker to slots and vice versa. In short, their gambling patterns evolved due to technological advancement and cultural changes. Conversatives would be stuck in their old ways
b) Personality traits: Introverts, people who do not enjoy going out, or interacting with other people. People with these personality traits will prefer to gamble over the internet than physical gambling. It is convenient for them and they avoid meeting other people. Sadly, these introverts are at higher risk of gambling addiction.
