Actually PI is an application whose security is not yet clear in mining, there are many negative values that are born from the use of PI, if we know more about the risks that will arise in the future.
As long as the value is still not there and only sweet promises are poured by PI to users and miners at this time, then negative responses will always be born in PI at any time, so what must be applied by PI now is its value in the market and its usefulness in applications

You've probably read a lot of this project's information and warnings. Personally, I follow it and have warned others against using it to mine Pi. Furthermore, this is a project with a lot of unknowns, which contradicts my beliefs about a decentralized field.

Oh my God, this project again? This is one of the idiotic project I have seen around the crypto market. The thing is I’m very frustrated if I even hear the name pi network because that has been said to me many many times in my circles and other chat groups. I just hate it how people are mining the coin by installing the app and that too with just a hope they will get the money for it after they launch it on the exchanger.

That’s seriously dumbest lie and still peeps believe in them. Too many peeps asked me to be their referral but I would donate to poor rather than be their referral lolz.

I have seen the values crunching on their app and I was so laughing at it because they think they are actually mining and helping with something. If there are no exchanges for the Pi then wtf it’s being mined for? Lolzzz!!

It’s as fake as it looks and sounds.

Still I don't know that Pi network is scam or not. But they have a large community. It has a good sign for them. If they are real and legit, they can develop the project in a good way. Mining system is good enough there and some people are talking about listing on next October. Let's see what happens in next October about pi network.

Pi is a new cryptocurrency where people can mine or earn from phone.Pi Network is a digital currency project that aims to keep crypto mining accessible. This project is developed by Stanford graduates which enabling users to mine coins from its smartphone app and it aims to redress the balancing. 🙏🙏

It seems like you didn't read any of the replies above, either you don't really know what mining is. There is no digital currency dedicated for mining neither a mobile phone that can do mining, it's technically impossible.
This Pi network project has no goal but to collect users data and use the small power of their mobiles to support this shit network. Sadly, thousands of users leaded by ignorance used this Pi app

many incidents that steal user data involving such applications, although not all applications, but in order to guard against the impact of these risks, I think it should be realized from now on, it is better to look for security than to add problems that we can't necessarily solve.

Installed their app recently and begin earning Pi coins. Frankly, I still don't understand who and when will buy any of  these. The idea is interesting, but they need some implementation.

There has been series of unrealistic predictions of price as regards the pi token. There's no way in this current disposition a crypto will be mined for free with no hardware for over two years and be of a great value in the market.
I believe totally in what you said  that

, but I think we should all take a chill pill, aside speculations going round the forum that maybe their app is collecting users data in the background which there is absolutely no proof anywhere yet, it cost nothing aside a very small amount of mb and about a minute or less each day to own some PI coins.
Yes, coins are distributed for free, and free coins don't always have much value to their owners, but we don't know what the team is up to, it might come out surprising to us all or disappointing as well, its a 2 sided thing, if in the end, it's worthless, we look the other way and move on, after all, we didn't buy them with hard earned money, but what if it turns out valuable, and you don't own any? What happens?

Check this:

Thanks for sharing a more detailed thread about the project, I receive a lot of messages forwarded to my FB Messenger account from my friends, but honestly, I never take time to read because I believe any project that has uses a lot of referrals could be potentially a scam project.

With the many projects in the space, we can always choose the best and I would never invest in a project that looks like a Ponzi scheme.

If it's only listed in the exchanges, we will have an idea on how big the money are coming in.

Even if it reaches exchanges (which is a miracle), by the large number of holders, it will worth nothing. Why should anybody buy a token when he can mine it using his cellphone?
If you deep check this scam network called PI, you will surely see how only ignorant people followed it blindly, and this the scammers target to reach the maximum large popularity.
I always advice users to check bitcointalk forum for all the crypto related topics, this will help them avoid being victims by ignorance.

The Pi Network is a cryptocurrency project that attempts to make Crypto mining more accessible. The idea, which was created by a group of Stanford grads, seeks to redress the balance by allowing consumers to mine coins via a smartphone app. Mining Crypto-coins from your phone can earn you money. Simply download the program, use it once a day, and it will mine Bitcoins for you. A members' section of the PI Network is also available.

Wow, where have you been all this time, it's impossible to mine Bitcoin on a smartphone or even on an average computer you need a supercomputer or an ASIC to mine Bitcoin, you can only mine their own token named PI, I lose trust in this project because there's a lot of deception on how they run their project, their mining is just assimilation you are not really mining anything on your phone, after three years they are still not in the market and their members are disappointed.

Pi network is a big scam. People are being attracted to it only because of the information wherein it says it will be 100$ by December, that's what they said. And then keep on referring friends to build a larger network for them to mine more pie.  In which they didn't know is a larger network of people that is about to get scam, a larger network of people having their identity being stolen. And I think once the time comes, when people realizes that it is a scam, it will surely affect the crypto space.

Too many people are about to get scam, some warns them yet users still defending the network. And that's sad!

Pi Network has lots of red flags and it's a sad thing that lots of people even those who don't know anything about crypto are hooked to it. It's risky to be honest because they're collecting our private information through their KYC requirement. I have a friend that's recruiting people to join this mining app and even though I warned her, she still defended the app. I just hope that this kind of scheme would come to end.

I think Pi network is a big bull shit coin. ( Not even a coin or have any chain)!

A project gain potential if it does have use case, yes they have however how can we called it a crypto project if they dont reside on a blockchain. So in short they only marketing their platform, and I heard they even have KYC. This is the worst thing a user should do especially if the project is on early stage. I will do kyc if the project seems legit but this isnt a good system at all.

Before I was deceived by this Pi, where I also mined it into my mobile phone for believing that their plan is true.
But in the end I noticed that for more than 1 year minted it, I found out that in the end they require KYC ere in the beginning of their
project is not required actually. Therefore I uninstalled Pi on my mobile due to I found out it is just a scam.
