I made my KYC with the Pi Coin network all within the app but you have to wait for its availability. Now, it is true the coin is not yet tradable in the exchanges and I am really confused as to what some exchanges are selling as you can never transfer your Pi into them. But I made $60 out of my coins because somebody bought them from me and my buyer is still buying them until now though of course the rate is not so good and so little compared to what exchanges are publishing as their Pi price. Since I generated some money on this app, I am not making any complaint so far and am continually mining Pi in my phone.

Ive also heard this a few years ago, and I would say before that it is worthless, but right now I've seen a lot of my online friends buying it, not sure why, and they just said that they are holding it because it has a good future. There are also a lot of people selling it directly to people because there is still no exchange available on it. Lastly, there are tons of establishments that accept Pi coins as a payment method, which makes me confused about why they even accept it instead of other established cryptos. But right now, the only way to sell it is through direct sales, but I don't know how they send it.

This is a scam! Never try to KYC-ing. Then about the price of $25 I think it's not the Pi Network as you think. I saw how it works as well as the number of coins they give out for sure it doesn't make sense if they can get a price of $25. That would surpass the valuations of some of the major cryptocurrencies.

I have a brother that has been using his mobile phone to mine Pi network some years ago before the coin become tradable, but left it and thought the coin is worthless. He asked me about the coin many months ago and I told him that the coin is worthless. Recently I saw the price on Huobi global and it was around $25. I told my brother about it and we are about to do KYC and send the PI coin to mainnet wallet, but on Pi browser, I got this error:

I do not know if the mistake is from us or the Pi network developer do not just want people to be able to withdraw their coins to mainnet. Is there a way my brother can be able to do KYC without getting that error? My brother has high amount of Pi coin on the Pi network app used for the mining.

You and your brother made a mistake if you checked the coin on Coingecko you will see this warning

Please note that the mainnet has not yet been launched, and the prices shown on certain exchanges are for IOUs that may not be transferable across exchanges. Please DYOR and proceed with caution.

The PI team also has a warning that they are not the one who listed Pi there and the team has nothing to do with what's listed on these exchanges, tell your brother to do extensive research, there are so many things the PI team kept on their community and they are also charged with abuse, for asking KYC and not giving their miners their shares and one time there was a report that they are monetizing their homepage to make money out of their members.

Pi network mainnet is not yet launched and this coin has been controversial for quiet some time.

and the Pi that listed on centralized Exchange is still I Owe You meaning no real coin is tradable there so there would be no deposit or withdraw and about the KYC program since pi listed the hype keep rising maybe this one of reason they don't accept new slot

Why would you give your personal documents to the Pi network? It's not a wise decision to share your documents with the Pi network. Their pi miner on mobile trying to solve anything but it doesn't actually solve anything and it is known as a scam project.

Recently I saw the price on Huobi global and it was around $25. I told my brother about it and we are about to do KYC and send the PI coin to mainnet wallet, but on Pi browser, I got this error:

There is no Pi network. Pi coins cannot have value, and you cannot sell or trade Pi coins because their mainnet hasn't been launched yet. The question is whether it will ever be launched. As for the Huobi exchange, I have no idea what they sell, but it is certainly not Pi coins.

Pi at $25... I don't have words to describe that. I guess people are not informed, some of the people I know asked me about "Pi" as well, they saw some advertising on some social network and they started mining Pi with their phones. And they believe they are "deep into crypto"... with a few thousand of Pi coins.

Well, I broke their dreams... and OP probably needs a wake-up call as well!

To many hype spreading about that and some use some strategic situation to believe that something good will happen to Pi and its miners believe that.

And here comes that Pi listed on exchange where many think that is the Pi coin they are waiting but unfortunately still doesn't deliver their hopes since they cannot do anything with the funds mined. Since the Pi listed us not the same with the Pi they hold. So maybe those people who didn't do a Kyc will do extra careful to do more research since who knows they are just giving it for free to devs and use it for activities that we don't like.

The mistake is not from you but it's from pi network team. Pi network was limiting the spots for the pi miners to verifying their KYC. My friend took years to complete it. The thing that is, you shall wait until pi network will open KYC verification again. No ETA for this.
Just wanna remind you that if PI network that is trading on exchange sites are still IOU tokens. Even if you have completed your KYC verification and you can't sell your pi network.

The only way to sell your token through P2P. IOU was just a token being made by the exchange site itself.

That's so crap. Why even use blockchain and categorize as a cryptocurrency if you need to submit AML/KYC to be able to sent out funds? Lmao. Once you get that to work, make sure to immediately dump it with haste.

What I saw is that people can buy and sell PI network P2P through groups on social media sites and communication applications at low prices. The original PI network currency price has not been determined, and it has not been listed on exchange platforms yet. It has been in the enclosed network since March 2019 until now, and there is no roadmap. This project, in my opinion, is just a joke, and even their mining is not considered real mining. It gained its fame from the promotional and marketing hype, but working on this project was a waste of time. Regarding your KYC issue, the PI team has mentioned, as far as I remember, that newly created accounts must complete 30 completed mining sessions to submit KYC verification; the priority is for those who have worked on the PI application for years and have a large mining balance. I do not advise you to submit your documents because you do not know what they do with these documents and the reason for their delay for years, and nothing has been done for the Pi currency.

You have to do fact checking first before complying with the KYC, again check that site again because you might give your information to the wrong site.
Pi coin has no value yet and no mainnet for Pi, if that is the current value of Pi then for sure you'll see a lot of hype from this but there is none.
Be careful next time because that hacker might already have the access on your personal details that can compromise you later on.

AFAIK, the Pi that's on huobi isn't really the Pi that your brother is mining. It's because if it does then there will be no Pi Coins holder hoping for it to get listed on any exchange. It's like a chain and token that's just made by huobi to attract all of those Pi holders to make it look like they're not losing the trend. It's been so long that this coin hasn't been listed on any exchange and not even on its own exchange if there's one that's being mentioned by the team. Sad to say that those that have complied for its KYC since the devs have asked for it were likely just collected it and sold it somewhere else. Just accept it together with your brother that it's certainly just a waste of effort collecting and mining those.

People would really be making themselves being dumb and this PI coin thing had been a while on social media which there are people who do keep on hyping this shit coin or not really that coin at all since

it doesnt really have its own blockchain but rather these are just tokens which are supposed to be that being mined but actually doesnt have value. It does really just give out that kind of false hope for everyone that do make some mining to it. Did make out some search about exchange platforms that have those Pi coins which it turns out that it isnt really on the same Pi coin that we are talking on here. If ever this one is get listed on exchange then im sure that its price would dump into the floor knowing on how many people been mining and been long time holding it.  Grin

Now that they do have that kind of KYC integration or requirement? I would definitely be having doubt on complying it out specially if it isnt really that been listed on any legit exchange
then i would definitely be skipping out on complying which you cant be sure on where it would be going.

There is no issue with the devleoper nor the pi coin app, they open the KYC window seasonally, they have done it twice now, its your responsibility to always keep yourself updated on when the next one will be.

The Pi coin in HUOBI GLOBAL isn't the exact Pi coin you you have in your Pi coin wallet, you may want to do an extensive research to arrive at what information you need.

It's a scam.

They're using (a Ponzi-system) referral system for the system, trying to generate ads-revenue for them self and you are getting rewarded with a virtual coin/token without any real-value at all. Most of these apps-system it's being used as an advantage for scammers/ponzi person as well to scam people (especially people who don't understand crypto). Since they're have some fake-estimation value they think is real.

You cannot withdraw anything, only send user-by-use > scammer take advantage these to sell by (P2P) since they can send by internal transaction. More information: https://twitter.com/Call_me_Cypher/status/1667293357314326529 even pi on exchange are not real pi

According to VnExpress, Vietnam’s Ministry of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention launched an investigation into Pi Network. Please note that mainnet has not launched yet and the price displayed below for certain exchanges reflects the value of the IOUs and it may not be transferable across exchanges.
